Have you heard of it before? What do you think about it :) I think the name is very catchy Nobunaga the Fool.

The planets of the East and the West were once connected by the Ama-no-Hashidate. The culture that built it was destroyed countless years ago, and the two planets have had separate histories ever since.

On the Western planet, ancient culture is experiencing a renaissance after a long period of war. Jeanne Kaguya D'Arc, a girl from the Western Planet, was prophesied to be the Savior of the World at her birth. With Leonard Da Vinci, she lands on the Eastern Planet, where Nobunaga "the Fool" longs for the power to change the world, as his planet is still locked in a war where many heroes vie for supremacy. When these two people meet, the culture of both worlds will be transformed.

Your sig might be a bit too large.

Just watched it. It combines Western History with Eastern History and Giant Mechs. And I like all 3 things.

Though
Spoiler:
They have giant advance mechs, yet only equipped the infantry with swords and arrows?

This seems like the only real worthwhile anime this season.

The mecha featured did raise my interest in this particular title.

A link to the official anime website: http://www.nobunaga.tv.

On a side note, there are 2 Nobunaga-related anime titles airing this season, albeit of different genres.

Jeanne D'Arc is hot. Plus giant ancient war mechs. Good enough reasons for me to watch this.

I really didn't like the fist episode and I don't know why.

................ Looks quite promising, though I rather sceptical that this will gets 'proper' ending... Gonna keep it in my watch list, nonetheless. Also:

I'm pretty much a sucker for anything involving the warring states period of Japan, Samurai Warriors and a multitude of other video games saw to that when I was younger.

I really like how they're bringing other historical figures into it as well. I enjoyed the first episode well enough, I'll be watching this.

Joan of Arc is indeed hot.

Maybe because:

Spoiler:
Aside from the in-your-face intro, they just HAD to finish with a "Gundam rising" at the end? xD

But it seems interesting with its weird cross-historical fantasy+mech approach.

Ep 3:
Spoiler:
Well played Himiko, well played. I'm gonna like her for that.

This is as if watching Kagura from Aquarion Evol starting his own series with a sengoku Aquarion. Oh well, mecha stuff is my stuff I guess although I'm not fond to G-Gundam-like cockpits.

and yeah
Spoiler:
they better have a good explanation about the Kaguya in Jeanne's name (since it doesn't sound well to me)

This anime reminds me of Escaflowne and Vanguard Bandit of PS1 (Anyone played this?)

Uhh its ok... It seems a little over the top. I don't know, I just don't connect with the characters like I do with over animes still is good though. The mecha is sweet,

It makes wanna pilot a mecha and cause mayhem.

The one from ep 7 was Kakusei Sareshi Kemono (the awakening beast/monster?)
