[Locked] Ouran High School Host Club

So this is a shojo, but in the IRC I was surprised by the amount of guys that have seen this and actually liked it.

:roll: So every guy is gonna bleh at this post, but in all seriousness, well - not really, but this show is really funny. I don't laugh out loud to a lot of things, I usually just chuckle to myself, but there's been quite a few times where the reactions to people in the anime are just too funny.

This should be in the Specific Anime section, btw.

I had a great time watching OHSHC. It was funny, charming, and you felt good just watching it. I kinda wished that Haruhi was more feminine, but we all know she's a girl. (Her looks reminds me of Ciel of Kuroshitsuji.) I don't know about you, but shojo material also attracts guys as well, me being one of them. OHSHC was brilliant in my opinion and each episode had you wanting more. In a way, it's very similar to Special A, but there's no way you can confuse the two of them. (I liked Special A as well. Very touching comedic romance.)

I didn't think guys really liked shojo. So girly and all, it makes a girl feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Well, it made me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside too. Maybe because I'm a romantic that's influencing my opinions.

i plan on watching this later, never picked up the manga though..

Ouran High School Host Club is MANLY AND BADASS!

The dub of this series isn't half bad, my friend mary and I were laughing the through the whole show. The outtakes are just as funny....mmm Mori likes seashells....apparently one of them became yoda and another became christopher walken.

I watched the entire series at one point while it was still in subbed format on you-tube, but when I recently purchased a 'japanese' import version of it I discovered, mush to my dismay, that it waz in point of fact, a shitty malayian rippoff version with horrendous subtitles. Needless to say, I am still thinking of buying a reputable version of it for cheep, but oddz are I'll just bite the bullet and find a reasonably good deal online for the domestic release that just came out. That way I know it'll be the real mccoy, even if it is only the first of two box sets that iz out now, and I will be waiting for a few monthz for the second half of thhe series. :roll:

That actually knocked my opinion of Ouran down a quarter of a peg. Excuse me while I go find whereeverthefuck 4chan is hosted and set fire to it.

If you've seen the anime then you know what it's really about and it's just funny how that guy exaggerated everything
