Parasyte

Has anyone heard of this manga? I think its freakin awesome. It's got gore, loss of humanity, and death. lots of death, did i mention the death, oh yeah and gore. Its about the invasion of parasitic life forms that eat the brain and replace the head. The parasite that was supposed to invade the protagonist shinji got stuck in his right hand. Cue carnage.

I've read that manga series years years ago. It was in my public library and I red up to the point where they stopped ordering new books for that series. All I could remember is that he had a parasite thing on his arm and was pretty much like a 1 armed version of Prototype. Art looks shitty now, but was pretty damn good back then.

its got a pretty good story. its got the whole apocolyptic feel going for it as well as a kid losing his humantiy. definitely a good read. do ya mean prototype the ps3 game?
