Requesting help for a film final!!!

Okay, so I, the previous lurker, joined because I need the advisory of the most knowledgeable group of people I would know of on this topic.
AKA; the fakku community.
In short, I have to do an 18 minute presentation on a film genre/director/actor of my choice.
I have to show three scenes, all around 5 minutes.
I have chosen the director Miyazaki for my project focus, everyone loves him. All his movies are so goddamn famous.
Anyways, I know I want to show clips from the only three miyazaki movies I have, because I need to have the movie to show clips.
The following are the movies I own:
Princess mononoke
My neighbor totoro
Spirited away
I just need to figure out some specific 5 minute scenes to showcase miyazaki's badass directory. This is where you all come in.
I need help, please. Anything.

I'd suggest scenes highlighting the fairy tale aspect of his movies. There's also scenes highlighting his attention to nature and its role in human life. Personally those are my favorite aspects of his movies, but you can just go with what you're passionate about.

In Princess Monanoke I would chose the scene where he's fighting san and Lady ayatashi (forgot her name),and in spirited away I would chose the scene where they're cleaning the river spirit, havent seen the My neighbor totoro so i cant say anything about it,choose whatever you want though

But this helps a lot actually, I think I have an angle now. Perhaps the "he uses animation as a medium to tell stories that would just quite frankly not be possible for reality to show."
Thanks for the help!

As for the scene from spirited away,im actually not too familiar with that movie, so ill probably watch it again, but what you said sounds like a good idea. God, the last time I saw that movie was when they played it on cartoon network...

Not too knowledgeable about directory but if you want memorable scenes, then you really can't go wrong with the bus stop scene from Totoro or the train scene from Spirited. Although, neither one really has any action in it, if that's what you're looking for.

So this helps very much.

You'll have to let us know how it goes. are the clips all you have to do? I'm assuming there is some kind of discussion or verbal presentation.

I'm assuming there is some kind of discussion or verbal presentation.I have to present three five minute clips, and kinda talk through the space in between the clips to set up the scenes and explain why exactly it is that i'm showing them. In addition, I have to point out anything outstanding during the clip. But that really isnt too hard.
It's on tuesday, but ill be sure to let everyone know how it goes.
