Rosario + Vampire

Based off the manga. Human boy is enrolled in an all Youkai/Monster academy. Haven't watched it yet, but I expect it to be like the manga. Not sure if I'll watch all of this series, manga is pretty boring.


Edit: just watched the first epi. Tons of panty shots. I probably won't bother d/ling any more of it though.

Just watched it. I think it's not boring, just the first part, till chapter 22 in the manga, it gets more serious. In the anime there are alot of differences here and there from the manga, aside from the pantyshots and future fanservice, I think It's an interesting anime to watch, although the monster design is much fiercer in the manga and less fanservice too.

Going by the posters found in various anime magazines, the artwork looks decent enough for me to check it out.

Some series tend to feature plenty of fanservice in the first few episodes, but along the way, the focus may shift to character and storyline development. Hopefully, the same goes for Rosario + Vampire.

Do they stop fighting "monsters of the week" type characters? And does the main character stop with the emotional breakdown every time a monster says/shows something bad about what the humans have done?


I read up to....the 12th chapter maybe? . Maybe I'll skip the rest and start at 22 or 23.

Don't skip the chapters, there will be a serious chapter in the middle, and for fighting "monsters of the week" I think it's a unavoidable, but seeing the monsters are really interesting. Although The main Character eventually goes to another breakdown 'cause If you skip till chapter 22, you'll spoil yourself, because in chapter 22 And at chapter 18 Tsukune will meet

Meh, I think I'll drop the entire series. Maybe I'll read chapter 18 though.


I'll stick with Mx0 for the "boy enrolled in a school that he's not supposed to be in" type series.

Man this thread is so negative.
My first impression of Rossario + Vampire, was that of a nice Comedy/Love Anime with some Fanservice inside.
The Artwork is pretty nice and i like so see more of it.

Only thing that bugs me, is the Vampire Transformation Sequenz..... first thought "Oh no Magical Girl Transformation... arg"
So lets see how the Anime continues.

PS: Besides you will never find more Pantyshots in an Anime than in Agent Aika

Someone spotted 27 pantyshots in the show. It's a 25 min show...lol.
