1. a) Quantity of heroines? b) or the quality of the heroines character?
2. a) the Heroines "love" for the protagonist? b) or just simple lust(yes just his dick) or crush?
3. and the ending of the Harem? a) did he love them all equally? b) or chose one at he end?

For me a "True harem" means to love the protagonist beyond just the size of his dick.
For example in Rito's case, everyone loves Rito for who he is and not his dick.

Though to be fair since this is anime and not hentai I don't think we'll ever see a protagonist being loved by a women because of his dick. Have seen an anime where he's sperm is valuable but not a dick yet though.
