Gotta say this was the first one that didn't really catch my attention. Cheap of them do Sanya and Eila together in one episode. And it's not like we needed another shy one with a tragic past.
Shy characters really shouldn't be in Strike Witches, as we aren't allowed anything but imagine the minor witches innermost thoughts, it is almost like a cheap excuse for not coming up with enough good characters. The tempo for introductions also really doesn't leave much room for specific characters to mature over time, as they shift focus to "newer" ones between the episodes.
I do however hope they let both of them appear more in the future, so that we can get an honest chance to be properly introduced to them, this episode just wasn't enough. I hope everyone gets a fair chance.

I had really high hopes for that sauna scene... but it was so unsatisfying.

A show about pantless loli catgirls with sometimes slightly lesbian preference and you seriously thought they'd not introduce at least one too-shy-to-speak character?
You're making it sound like the french lesbian tsundere would be so much more creative. (Did I mention I can't wait for her episode?)
You speak truth, but here is hoping for more seasons.
