[Anime] Strike Witches Movie

It appears to have just come out today, and I noticed Fakku doesnt have a thread for it so I decided to make one, what are everyone's thoughts?

The anime is on my "to watch list". Depending on how that goes, the movie will be added.

EDIT: Put yer pants back on, boys- the fanservice, while glorious, only comes in short snippets- eclipsed by return of the Neuroi. Were I to be a critic- this would actually rate near rock-bottom, with most of it crawling along at a snail's pace, and the finale being rushed, along with little substance to the story overall.

That said- I still love it. Just seeing the girls (and their beauteous rear ends) again was a treat.

Like Jack said, its one for the fans. Especially considering how very little is explained concerning setting, history/back story.
The movie picks up almost, immediately after the end of season two. So obviously if you have no prior knowledge of the Strike Witches series. You'll just be watching sslllooowww ass story movement and be rewarded with a roughly 10 minute final battle filled with the usual pantsu. Which if you have no interest in the Strike Witches series, just go watch/read some hentai instead.

In fact here https://www.fakku.net/series/strike-witches , fakku has 4 pages of Strike Witches doujinshi, read/fap to these, if after all that time fapping and reading, if you're actually interested in knowing more, give the series a watch then this movie.

Just finished watching it with a friend, it was pretty good, I gre to like Perrine a bit more after her scenes, and the new witches looked good too. It appears they were setting up for a Season 3 as well, and I can never get enough Strike Witches.

There's a rumor that strike witches is done by same person as Zero Tsukaima. Any chance this is true?

Noboru Yamaguchi wrote the light novels of Strike Witches and Zero No Tsukaima. However, he wasn't the original creator of Strike Witches. (thanks wiki)

I heard he also did hentai games. I think it was Megami Tenchuu or something like that. Is that also true?
