Subs that are DVD-OK?
0
I have a DVD burner and fucking love it. However, I've found out something when it comes to subbed anime: Practically none of it is meant to be played outside of a computer, apparently.
Every single anime I've slapped on a disc always has sub errors when being played on my DVD player. Instead of the subtitle, I see some kind of coding on the screen. Of course, this could just be a subber error and is the same when played on a computer. However, I DO know that one of the series I have looks just fine when played on my computer.
Is there something I can do to make the subs actually work?

Find anything than MKV with soft subs.
Hard subs is the one you're looking for. Because the subs are already "recorded" in the episode itself. Soft subs are subs that is still separated with the episode.

If they are soft-subbed .mkv videos, try re-encoding them to mp4 and such using Handbrake; usually it keeps most of the quality unlike converting softwares.

Thanks, guys. I'll look into the Mp4 thing. I can't even find torrents of full-series anymore, so it won't be much of a problem.

Or just use convert to dvd program. Hardsubs or soft it doesn't matter because the program will burn the same.
