1. the simplest things that's related to the anime can be the trigger.
ex: "was playing Galaxy Angel Eternal Lovers, in the end it made me rewatch all the seasons.
2.Pure nostalgic reasons.

In time i get bored and want to repeat the awesomeness of anime that i want to re-watch.
But as per usual, i re-watch anime because i want to get the secret (some kind of easter egg or what) or perhaps to understand the story more.

BOREDOM. Better to watch an anime than sit around bashing your head on the wall. Especially when you've gotten them painted recently and you dont want red stains

I will usually rewatch an anime if it was memorable. If it had some sort of impact on me.
Then there's if I'm bored, or if my younger sibling is watching an anime that I've already seen. Like I just rewatched Kanon 2006 with him, and it was still pretty fun to watch.

Awww, I remember Clannad After Story. I shed man tears every so often during this anime. :( The music is simple, yet amazing.

That was a great rendition of the song but the one that has, for some odd reason, always gotten to me is Dango Daikazoku. Nice find.

Often boredom will make me go back and rewatch anime, but there are some series that I seem to make a habit of rewatching at least yearly. Such series as Clannad, Aria, and Welcome to the N.H.K. I manage to watch repeatedly.

Geez what a coincidence, I'm in the midst of rewatching Clannad After Story.
I'm challenging myself not to shed manly tears when I watch it. So far so good, but maybe cos I haven't gotten to the hard parts yet.
