OH MY GOD THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE EPISODE. I DIED. That had to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

Her expressions during class were great too. They also added in the lunch scene. Though they didn't have the little dance type thing where they threw each other around. It it was still funny though.

Did you notice her tea cup with the paw print on it? Too cute. There was also Minori's famed bucket of pudding. That photo of her eating it was strangely arousing...

Overall I thought this episodes was excellent. Taiga was wonderful. Definitely the cutest she has been yet, imo. I felt intense jealousy towards Kitamura, and that jealousy soon turned to rage. I'm the one for you, Taiga. You can take my picture anytime.

And tsujoi, if you end up reading this, I know you said you dropped this series but I think you should watch this episode. Sure it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I thought it was a good episode.

I totally loved this episode! Taiga was full of win and awesome as she showed her gruff mean side to her cute and bumbly side. They did incorporate some of the stuff that they supposedly skipped in episode 2 though, if that's any consolation to people who hated that cut. (People keep referring to the damn novel, and as far as I'm concerned, only the first novel was translated and hasn't really progressed since.)

In this episode Taiga reminds me off Shin-Chan.... :lol:


And yeah, Taiga was so CUTE curling up like that..... XD

Oh yeah, after the episode got out, people from 2ch did a art job at Minori's Bucket pudding, turning it into a bucket of.....

Why do you say that?

What do you mean "What do I say that!?" The people scanlating the damn novels haven't gotten past the first damn novel in terms of scanlation. I think people that keep comparing the two have no basis to judge the anime when the production quality and other various factors are done really well, that's what I fucking mean.

edit: I was mistaken in that there are TWO scanlated novels... and hasn't budged an inch.

Well, the next episode of Toradora! introduces Ami, which I'm eagerly anticipating the crazy cat-fight between her and Taiga.

Anyway, are you referring to the manga? The novels are translated up to volumes 3 and 4 and the manga is currently scanlated into what will be volume 2.

Sorry, I woke up a half hour ago, and I'm under the impression that people don't like Toradora! because a) it doesn't match up to the novels, which is arrant nonsense, b) it doesn't match up to the manga, which is also arrant nonsense, and c) Rie's voice doesn't match Taiga's personality, which is triply arrant nonsense and she fits her role perfectly. Yall have to remember that Kugimiya Rie is a seasoned seiyu whose done many roles that we have never imagined, like Alphonse from FMA and Mizore in Rosario + Vampire.

As for the novels, I checked Baka-tsuki and they only have parts of volume 3 and 4 translated, which is kinda dumb since it's not complete. Are you saying that somewhere on the net the third and fourth light novels are translated? If so, I would like the link to that site so that I may further enjoy this awesome series, if you wouldn't mind.

No, I was referring to how they're on both of them at the same time. It's weird, but oh well.

Glad to hear you'll keep watching. And I sometimes think that about Taiga too, but I don't dare say a think because Louise would never forgive me. I don't know how I would go on if that happened.
