Monster girls, eh? Tempted. Just wondering which stories are going to be in it? Not a fan of trail mix/party mix aka stories with tags I like mixed with stories with tags that kill the mood. Most of the time with monster girls its the good ones, but sometimes the messed up ones blend in too well, waiting for the stinger at the end or before.

Sad to see the whiteout tag.

The story title alone could qualify for Title Of The Year 2021.

Normally, this would be an easy buy for me as I love monster girls. But the 'Whiteout' tag concerns me. When The Otaku in 10,000BC Vol 1 was announced there was a thread that addressed the extent of the whiteout and even showed how the English version tried to minimize the whiteout as much as possible. So, I'm curious as to whether the whiteout for this release is in every chapter? Is there anything that can and/or will be done to minimize the whiteout as much as possible? Really appreciate the efforts to bring more of this content, but whiteout censorship in manga is something I'm not a fan of.

These anthologies are more focused on the stories rather than the sex and, in my humble opinion, are more softcore than hardcore. There’s plenty of sex but it’s not “zoom-in on the penetration” kind.

The white out tag concerns me as well. Although as a monster girl addict I will be purchasing this for sure.

There isn't a whiteout post about it honestly because Otaku in 10,000 BC was really when we had to introduce whiteout to folks here on the site so now with the tag it's hoped to be understood. With that being said, as @623 has mentioned, it's more of a softcore book and sometimes there's no whiteout at all in chapters because there's no visual penetration, but on the chapters that would show genitalia, there would be whiteout. It's sort of a weird thing, because that's one of the first things people want to know "is it censored?" and technically, no. It's not censored. The idea of censorship is where the publisher takes the artwork and covers up what the artist drew. But our definition of whiteout is simply that the artist didn't draw the details, so that's how the artist intended it. But it would be insincere if we said it was "uncensored" in the nature that "it's explicit" so we came up with a term "whiteout" to hopefully make it more clear that it's not as much of a sexually explicit book (though still really sexy!!)

That's interesting. I've always been using non-h and ecchi to recognize the category/genre of the releases (e.g. Pleasure & Corruption) and using whiteout as an indication of the degree of censorship as in some of rca's works, even though if could be that the artists may have not drawn genitals in the first place.

Yeah, this book is just an interesting case because there's very much so sexual content, complete with doggy style, cowgirl, titfucks, etc. it's just the angles and other factors make it less hardcore than your typical ero manga.

I purchased this nearly a week ago. Preordered the book and was expecting a digital download to look at for the time being. It says it's "In my library" but I have not been able to even look at the damned thing aside from the sample pages. I can understand having to wait for the physical version though I'll be damned lucky if I even stay alive enough to see August. But having to wait to read my digital version is bull. When can I read the damned thing I paid for?

Edit: I just now found out the digital release date is supposed to be today. It would help if this information was available when making my purchase.

I am probably not going to make any more preorders in the future, especially if it's a digital preorder. I already got fucked over thanks to Mighty Number 9 and New Gundam Breaker, I'll be damned if I get suckered in when it comes to books.

The product is not available during the pre-order period. Once the digital version is released, the "Pre-Order Book" button changes to "Buy Now" to indicate this. With a few exceptions, all of our book releases follows the same pre-order procedure (from the FAQ):

How long does it take for the digital/paperback to come out?
The first digital chapter is released a week after the pre-order starts, and the rest over the course of a week.
Download links go up a week after the release of the first chapter.
The shipping dates for paperback vary, but it's typically 2-3 months after the pre-order.

I hope this helps to clear up the process. If you want instant access to the product, I suggest waiting until after the pre-order window (two weeks), at which point the book will be available to be read on the site as well as a digital download.
