Bestiary 3 by ShindoL, Now Available on FAKKU!

Today we proudly announce the arrival of the first doujin by the legendary ShindoL. In collaboration with the Phoenix Syndicate, ShindoL (also known as Da Hootch) has made Bestiary 3 available for purchase to all FAKKU users. And although we were not directly involved in publishing this book, we are proud to share that it is available completely uncensored with high quality digital downloads, just like the rest of the content you've seen on FAKKU.

This book is especially unique because it's actually a collaboration between 18 different artists. Each artist contributed a short 3 page story involving a monster from their imagination wreaking some havoc. The complete list of artists participating: ShindoL, Inue Shinsuke, Hanauna, Amagi Michihito, Kurodensha, sian, TAGANE, Kanemaki Thomas, Denki Shougun, Z-ton, BLADE, Akaume, Igumox, Kizaki, saitom, Date Naoto, Dagashi, and Mikoyan.

darn no print version?

If the digital sells enough copies we will be helping to make the print version possible (this is originally a hardcover book). And if you do buy the digital edition now and we later have the physical available, you'll only have to pay the difference.

I just know for a fact soon FAKKU is going to publish a physical version of one of ShindoL's works and when that time comes boy oh boy :)

What about volumes 1 and 2? Also, how come this is still $10 bucks even though its half the usual content (88 pages vs 200+ for full releases) ? I know the pages are colored, but its not like its a printed book...

Now THIS is the kind of variety I like to see in Fakku.

Comparing ShindoL to Bosshi doesn't sound quite right. Just based on reputation, I'm inclined to believe this book would be much darker and less "fun".

Probably just saying "Most of our stuff is vanilla; XXX Mix was different for a lot of the userbase, so is this."

Nice to know, will definitely be getting this once I get paid. And hopefully the other parts in future.

I personally think it being priced at $10 is rather fair, consider that Hanafuda was priced at $10 as well. 88 pages vs 112, but the Bestiary is 18 separate artists.

I really do need to see the sales numbers for the first month at minimum (preferably 3 months) before I make a decision if I want to proceed with a physical print. It will happen, just a matter of when and if it is viable or not.
