Did Fakku unplug from Amazon?

1
Recently Fakku Store just disappeared from amazon. Amazon is the only convenient store to buy from to my country as they offered a greater shipment cost that wouldn't sacrifice my wallet. Is this a temporary or a permanent move?

If this was intended, please consider using Amazon as a retail partner again.

Here's the link to Amazon that was provided from Fakku's post "[Locked] FAKKU Books: Release & Reprint Status":
https://www.amazon.com/s?i=merchant-items&me=ARNW57X6LCMKV
You could earlier see all available books from Fakku, now it's all dead.

If you're from outside the US, then it's most likely your country. I just searched it up and they're full stocked:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Fakku&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

Sorry I was very unclear, these Fakku books are not being sold directly from "FAKKU Store", as Amazon's 3rd party seller anymore.

There were many more titles that were available when "FAKKU Store" was there as 3rd party seller. You can see "FAKKU Store" in the search bar in the following link: https://www.amazon.com/s?i=merchant-items&me=ARNW57X6LCMKV (a link that Fakku themself provided, that used to display numerous titles just a few days ago).

"FAKKU Store" is now totally wiped out from Amazon, so the consequence is that there are now far fewer titles of Fakku books, that are being sold directly from Amazon or some other random 3rd party seller.

That has happened before when Amazon tries to be more sfw friendly

Ahh yes, I see. It's like animefreak said. Amazon is known to remove products (I think they also removed digital titles that people bought, from their own libraries) for titles they deem is not sfw for their platform. Which is stupid and makes no sense because there's still titles and vols of the same series they banned.

It's not fakku, but an example would be Worlds End Harem. Had to buy most of it from rightstuf because they removed all but the last 4 vols or something. Which makes no sense to me but whatever.

I see, sigh.. They should just hide nfsw stuff behind a button instead of making such a mess. It's quite odd that Amazon removed FAKKU Store as a 3rd party seller, but still sells Fakku books themself directly.

Aye rightstufanime is a better choice tbh. I would personally love to buy from them because of their packaging, but the shipment cost is way too expensive to justify it. Unfortably they don't even offer free shipment even if I buy for x amount of dollar to my country/EU.

Hopefully, that's something Fakku themself can offer once they get their physical store up and running.

The Right Stuf Intl. carries pretty much all Fakku! titles at good prices 😎👍🏽

For digital versions, I buy from this website, Rakuten Kobo, and Barnes & Noble.

They buy their copies under wholesale and don't want the competition. That's how they get it to you so cheap

Ebay did the same thing. Completely nuked the adult only tab (or whatever it was called) and now people can't sell what eBay deems as pornographic. So ya, they're cracking down hard this year (which is why Fakku got fucked with the store).

But I would honestly just wait til Fakku is up and running. Better to get it from the source anyway. Especially if you get a free digital copy.

There were actually some titles that were out of stock on rightstufanime that FAKKU Store offered through amazon, like Flappy! and Shameless (I want to hit myself for not purchasing these. I wanted to check if there would be any black friday sale before buying .. dang!)

The prices are about $20 (or $18 with a 10% coupon) in rightstufanime. Is that a good price or do they get even lower? I saw a few black Friday sales for $14, but just for a few titles.

Dang I see.. That sucks.

Aye, I'm really looking forward to Fakku's physical store. I just hope the shipment cost to the EU won't be too expensive like rightstufanime (about $50).

I pretty much buy all of my anime from The Right Stuf Intl. I buy them through their sales throughout the year (the rest from Sentai's website). I don't have the physical space for manga anymore, so I've switched to digital releases for my PCs, tablets, and e-readers. However, if I had the space, I'd get them from TRSI. If one were to order a certain amount, the shipping is free within the continental US. Even if I were in another country, I'd probably still buy from TRSI, although I'd also check at Barnes & Noble (if you're a B&N member, you might get a discount or get a coupon for a discount every so often).

Even though I'm an Amazon Prime member and I have Kindle devices, I do try to look elsewhere to buy.

Shipping to outside North America it's always going to be as high. The only reason why Amazon can ship something from the u.s. to let's say Germany is because the usps give them a special discount on bulk and they have their own planes. That's why United publishers and other European storefronts sell fakku books. We don't have those special discount bulk rates.

I see, thanks for the clarification!
