Download Magazine Chapters

Is this something coming anytime soon? I'm afraid of my favorite chapters being deleted from FAKKU and my favorite list so that I won't be seeing them ever again.

No it's not ever coming out. Now missing chapters do happen. Could be artists asked them removed, your controversial setting recently change back on or server gremlins. I think the favorite tab borks or is borked right now.

I mean on most porn sites you can download your favorites. I would even pay more monthly if I could download. Why you think it's never going to happen?

Simple answer is that porn site probably as drm built in so you can share that video while the content here has none. The reader does just because it's like so easily can be pirated. Are you gonna really buy things if someone can dl 1000's of chapter to be hosted on some virus ridden readers, p2p or pay dl hosts?

If and if you could be able to dl the chapters they probably be lock to the device or PC so you can't share like kindle or kobo. If that one porn site does allow you to dl without drm then that's either a non official site for that content or they don't care people can just pirate them out of existence. I haven't really see any legit porn source like that. Only fans and patreons lock their stuff. Brazzers and manyvids too.

I see, but where is the difference to the Doujins then? You can buy and download those. Buying monthly magazines or chapters would make a lot of extra money plus the subscription. Brazzers you can actually download the videos. Patreon is behind a paywall just like Fakku but you can download once purchased. Or Steam, Youtube, all the same. Purchase -> Download. I don't see a problem, especially with all those websites with scans, FAKKU should know that people who really want the magazines and don't get to buy them legally because somehow money is suddenly bad for business, will use those sites. Fakku is as nonsensical as those japanese sides where they make it unnecessary hard for anyone to actually buy the stuff people want so people don't see an alternative and use those other sides. Even Pixiv let you download all you want for free or after purchase.

Subscription models aren't universally the same. Just because another site chooses to allow content to be downloaded - which they might have sole ownership of, it doesn't mean other sites should or need to do the same. You're also confusing a service with a product. Doujins are, at the end of the day, a product which is sold, you own these much in the same way you own any other digital content you might purchase. FAKKU Unlimited on the other hand is a service that provides 'access' to translated chapters, among other benefits - you don't own the chapters.

Pretty late to the conversation, but if really you really wanted the idea of downloading DRM-free magazines you could easily bypass some pirating issues by giving users the option to purchase the magazines, similar to what you’d find by searching on FAKKU’s book catalogue. That way, you won’t have to worry as much with people subscribing for a single month to hoard all the titles and leave.
