When will Renai sample be reissued and will it be different since it a 2nd edition print? Asking for someone else.

It'll be a while before we reprint Renai Sample, but when we do we'll definitely be updating it. We learned some more things about the printing process while working on PuniKano and Peachy-Butt Girls that we'll be doing with all of our books. We'll probably have it reprinted by July.

Ah well kinda sucks that we got the older version but on the other hand it's all good cause you guys were still learning no harm done but yeah the book is still doing great and unlike most paperback books/literature I've had it hasn't bent into place after stretching it to read a bit more clearly.

We can consider the 1st edition as a collectors item.Definitely! You all have a copy of the first book FAKKU ever published. There is a lot of value tied to that 1st edition (especially since it's already sold out). Plus you can bring it to a convention we're at and get it signed. As an example the 1st print run of the Hen-Tie shirt had text on it, only 300 with text were ever made.

Mainly print quality things, we might reword some of the dialogue but nothing major. Later no this year when we start printing a 2nd edition we'll have a lot more info. Right now we're mostly focused on our next few books and another big announcement we have coming.

That's cool. For the record I'm pretty happy with how it came out. There were a few pages that got slightly cut off due to misalignment but nothing terrible really. Obviously it's something you want to avoid if you can but not a deal breaker (for me at least).
I'm looking forward to that big announcement though, I'm checking here like 3 times a day lol

I'm really happy with the 1st edition of Renai Sample, and perhaps most importantly the publishers in Japan and Homunculus were both impressed. They legitimately said it was the highest quality English manga printing they'd ever seen. We just want to do even better than that.
That next big announcement is probably a month or two away, but it's gonna be big. We also have some big things planned for this years Anime Expo.

Especially after seeing people post pictures of their shirts with the accompanying hand-numbered post-its. (IIRC, first print textless shirts got numbered as well? Those are obviously harder to keep apart from later prints, though.)

Ah yeah you remember! @artystic drew little pieces of artwork on post-it notes for anyone that ordered a shirt from that first 300. It took quite a bit of extra time to have all those made. We even themed the art to each username (even the guy named "shittingdicknipples")
Looking back that shirt design is really what got everything started on our store and FAKKU attending conventions and all that. Without the Hen-Tie shirt we probably wouldn't be publishing these books today.

Glad to hear that this book will be getting a reprint down the line. I like collecting physical copies of titles I really like (not just manga - my visual novel collection is huge); it's a bit of a pet peeve when imperfections manage to make it into the final version. Mangerotica had a bit of a problem with that back when they were still around...
Anyway, while you're editing Renai Sample, I thought I may as well report a typo in case it hasn't already been caught. On the first page of Be Natural, "Of course we dont." is missing an apostrophe.
