Information regarding Girls forM Hentai Magazine situation

1
I was wondering about why there haven't been any new updates/published volumes for the hentai magazine named Girls forM on Fakku. There have only been four volumes available on the site so far ( Vol. 13 to Vol. 16) for so long/many years without changing at all. I know the Girls forM Hentai Magazine hasn't been discontinued and is still publishing. So why haven't Fakku updated and published the newer volumes on the site?

Looked at the link and read the twitter. Didn't know the Girls forM Hentai Magazine discontinued at 27 December 2019. But still they published at lest 20 volumes of that hentai magazine. The reason I know this is because I checked up the website for the publisher who are responsible for that hentai magazine. Fakku have only four of those volumes (vol. 13 to vol. 16) available on the website. So with this new information, let me repeat but as well rephrase my question; why haven't Fakku updated and published the rest of the Girls forM Hentai Magazine volumes on the site?

because no subscriber want to read it? And someone like you want the magazine and don't subscribe?

So yeah, that's why fakku don't want to translate it, it's wasted effort on something no one want to read.

It's for the same reason they don't publish all of Koh, Europa, or any older issues of the magazines they regularly update: They already have enough on their plate just trying to keep up with the magazines they are working on. FAKKU has gotten a lot quicker to complete recent magazine issues but the average completion time is 4 - 8 months depending on the magazine (I know because I literally have a spreadsheet of this shit) and this is with the context that only last month (March) did the most 2019 backlog get done. But what's the consequence of working on the backlog in March? The March Issues get pushed aside! And now FAKKU has to try and deal with the April issues! Hence the 2019 backlog is just literally getting replaced by releases in 2020! And the cycle continues. So I don't think its reasonable, especially for a magazine that caters to a certain fetish, to ask FAKKU to complete ALL of the remaining issues of Girls forM.

I did a thought experiment to put things in context: I've glanced through the Girls forM section to check the number of artists per issue and averaged them to get a total of 17 artist per issue. Assuming for the best case scenario for FAKKU's workload, suppose that each release from each artist is 16 pages (16 pages is what i feel is the sweet spot for short full length release in a magazine). There are 16 issues left of Girls forM, which makes for a total of 17 x 16 x 16 = 4352 pages (or 17 x 16 = 272 releases) for FAKKU to translate, redraw, and edit. And that is in THE BEST CASE SCENARIO FOR PAGE COUNT. That is a fuck ton of work for a niche magazine.

yeah Girls for M was never all that popular, it gets updated every once in a while, saw some new chapters go up last summer, but for the most part I wouldnt get my hopes up for that publication. Though if I were you I would go into the suggestion thread and suggest books from artists who have books made up of their works from this publication. Its never guaranteed but its always worth asking.

This was more or less answered by the staff two years ago. Basically it doesn't seem to be really popular. It's a shame because it's certainly my favorite magazine. I've been buying the latest Japanese releases for now.

I missed that update (two years ago, dam) I loved Girls forM the stories were my kind of kink. Any chance of Fakku contacting the individual artist's who have worked shown in Girls forM and see if the would partner with Fakku?

Some have, some are on different magazines now, some doujins on site. We have Marui Maru book also.

I never bought they "we're not that popular" yet I'm supposed to believe that all what seven or 8 others they've licensed since are all super popular too.

Fakku has its fave publications and it feels the rest be damned. They do still have access to the library of Girls for M as per agreement as far as I know unless expired through inactivity or something but I'd not hold my breath to see them on here beyond a rare appearance via books (which of course are not part of subscription).

The common complaint is Fakku is too vanilla. Is that right? Well that's debatable but they certainly don't pander to the masses who want publications based on wider kinks not often provided by the ones they prioritise. Personally I feel they tried to expand too much digging into games and hentai anime yet not even providing all their magazines plus plethora of back catalogues they've no intention of going deep into either. A shame but whilst messy it's effectively their business model these days and I can only assume it's what working well for them so won't change going forward. If your kink is not what Fakku panders to you have to go elsewhere even if it does mean unfortunately not supporting the industry and creators (something Fakku is fantastic for).
