International shipping prices

So, I'm not sure if this is how this should go, but since I'm asking specifically for books, this is where I'm posting it.
I really love fakku books, love the iniciative, love the quality, love the content and love the format.
The thing is I'm from Spain, and I bought Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments. The price being $19.95, I paid $43.40, meaning I paid $23.45 just for shipping.
This means I paid quite more money for shipping than for the actual product.
My question is, isn't it possible to find a shipping method that doesn't make it so expensive for international costumers to purchase this boooks?
PD: I know I could just buy the digital copy and all, but it's not the same, I want to have those physical copies filling my shelves!! :P

I did some tests on amazon.com (I'm french but the shipping prices are around the same)
Ordering a book leave you with around 10 $ of shipping price, and ordering two books won't change the price, making ordering two books on amazon a much cheaper option.

Let's not forget that the included digitals are not available in amazon.

Yeah, pretty much only thing stopping me from buying from Amazon. Hopefully they'll figure it out soon.

Exactly, that's what kept me from doing that, hmmm, I guess a $13 difference for the digital copy isn't that bad. I hope you find something to solve that.
Thanks for the great work!!

Me too.
I live in Asia and shipping cost is pretty high.
Since the book are printed in Hong Kong, are there any way to send it directly from there? Crossing Pacific ocean twice (to USA and back to Asia) is sure take more money (and time too).
PS. And some of the book aren't on Amazon.

PS. And some of the book aren't on Amazon. That's because they wait until they finish sending the orders from Fakku before putting the books on amazon.
The only exception was TiTiKEi so far.
It's like I'm the only one reading all the infos, seriously.

I guess a $13 difference for the digital copy isn't that bad.Well, you could just buy the physical from Amazon and the digital from FAKKU separately and save $3. I think FAKKU might actually make more money that way (they lose whatever cut Amazon takes from the book, but get an extra $10 for the digital instead of giving it away for free).

I believe Amazon take 10%, they can simply provide a voucher code for people who buy through Amazon, to get the digital copy at a discount rate from fakku store

Amazon takes anywhere from 25% - 50%, it's pretty substantial.

I'd always rather buying it directly from Fakku, and it's not like I would be saving that much...

that seems like quite a bit, but I see you are using Fulfillment by Amazon which does have added fees.
Have thought of being a supplier, and sign deals with other company who do the selling and you simple supply them with the stock.

I mean, it's great if you're willing to pay more, but other people might read this topic hoping for other ideas.

Try living in Canada
1: The Exchange Rate, so have to pay about 25% just for that
2: International Shipping
3: Import Charges. Usually about the same amount as the shipping
So I usually try to order a bunch of stuff, so then the order value is much more then the combined shipping and import charges combined

If the market on the Europe was vast, I think that having a paperback distributor on that region would be beneficial to Fakku, the distributor, and the buyers.
If you have a great partner that was shipping vast number of packages from US to your region, you can ship your books from their service for a lower cost then distribute it with a profit.
As for me, I'm planning to distribute Fakku and other hentai products on Philippines since I guess the target market here was large.
Since the list of books being offered by Fakku are increasing, it can be possible to have partnership with some manga retailer on other regions for bigger target market, not just domestic.

@Jacob Have you considered listing your books in BookDepository? Not sure how they can offer free international shipping while having decent prices but I have seen Project-H's books listed there so I know that they allow adult goods (although in this particular instance the publisher seems to be different).
EDIT: Or perhaps offer free shipping for purchases over a certain amount like $100.
