Review of The Job of a Service Committee Member

I tried to post this on Right Stuff to show a more inclusive review for anyone interested in the book, but they rejected it so I guess I will post it here

One of my favorite Fakku releases Kiyoshiro Inoue does a wonderful job, and puts the most work into character expressions. Less focus is put on the breasts with a number of scenes taking place with characters still clothed.
The females range in body type from BBW to pettanko.
The main story about the cover the first 95 pages, Where the girls of the service committee are to service any and all comers, done in a humorous slapstick way.
Next we have 2 one-shot chapters one about a girl seducing her tutor and the outer about a woman trying to rekindle and old flame after hes moved on.
The last 82 pages cover the on-goings of the various clubs at the school. A manga club trying to draw inspiration, a gymnastics club with a woman practicing her form, a manger trying to cheer up a losing sports team, a student teacher Rom-com, and a horny girl’s confession.
There is no rape in this book mostly women doing a civil service with comedic timing. And pushes a any woman can be beautiful outlook.

I must say from this book I especially liked the two yandere chapters and the one with the seduced tutor. The drawing style of the artist is great and the humourous bits make it even better.

This is one of my favorite books. The facial expressions, body types, and perspectives are all really well done and memoriable. I always come back to this book and admire the art work.

anyone else read the troll review on rightstuf? i thought it might've been a real review but the moment the reviewer wrote

"the artwork is poor, nipples poorly drawn, sex scenes that are essentially rape which leave a pretty bad taste in the mouth, and devalues the female characters much more than ordinary porn."

I knew it had to be a troll review plus i also downvoted his review although two people actually upvoted his review as helpful.

out of all the fakku books, I think the cover for this book is easily the best one at least in my opinion. I kinda wish the whole book was about the job of a service committee member rather just the three chapters though.

seriously though I would've loved more chapters about the two girls on the cover.

Wow, that got approved, but yours didn't? I don't understand...

This is one of my favorite books released so far, art and story wise.

The book was great i do wish the artist focused more on the sex positions however because it feels like the girls got to do anything at all. I can understand how some people might view it as rape since the whole theme of it revolves around women basically ordered to have sex with any male student that asks them, but i think its more of a prostitution thing really.
I do wish the other girls had more screen time rather than just a couple of panels it feels like a waste of characters when this ended. If he would have focused on the students as a whole rather than just the 2 main ones i think it would have been better.
The story writing is pretty good but is pretty much what you expect from school clubs hentai so it isn't amazing.

Overall i rate it 8/10

If this had happened to me I would be really pissed of and like "My review is not approved? You are not approved! Go and stick that stupid troll review up your ass!"

The Service Committee arc definitely contains rape, and devalues women to an absurd extent unimaginable in real porn. The reviewer isn't wrong. Comedy doesn't change what it is. That being said- it's probably my favorite hentai ever. I'll defend the shit out of it but I won't try to excuse its contents. I think if we want to keep enjoying these types of things, we have to be self-aware about the real issues surrounding them and approach them maturely with healthy attitudes. If Fakku ever gets challenged for its real hardcore rape, our first reaction shouldn't be denial. Just call it as it is: fiction, art, and sweet sadistic misogyny (or in some cases androgyny #EqualRepresentation #omnipandering).

The reviewer's taste for art style is irredeemably shit though. Not to mention the review itself is shit and unhelpful.

Is it rape if it's your job to be fucked?

Also "challenged" seriously, anyone who attacks FAKKU for their content shouldn't expect anything but the simple answer "it's fiction, bitch"

Here is the page I originally posted on Web Page Name if you feel you can do better be my guest.

The Service Committee is not compulsory, therefore the act of joining is giving consent
Sex with consent =/= rape, and if you felt the females where devalued you must read plain old boring vanilla.

If we where talking about Second Wife which has the closest thing to rape, with its femdom, blackmail I could see your point. Otherwise your trolling

Wait, if it is rape then wouldn't it have the forced tag or Netorare?

I didn't buy the book nor have I read it but from the previews I have seen it does not look as bad as you are describing it. Well I also read stuff from Takeda Hiromitsu(Probably his most famous book is on this site), Erect Sawaru(This guy draws tentacle stuff and gangbangs in amazing ways and I need that Pandara book to be on sale here), and even Fan no Hitori(There is some extreme fuck up stuff in his work), so maybe I am desensitized from this weird gray porn area.

It is forced since they are ordered to have sex with any male teachers of students if asked its just that the consequences for disobeying them are never mentioned so it's subtle. Therefore it is kinda rape kinda forced since most of the girls seem to not enjoy the situation as it is but since its not in your face about it it gets a pass.

Woah, calm down folks!

Look, I don't want to argue about whether it's rape or not as that seems like a very touchy, emotional subject for you guys. I'd rather just make my larger point again. You have to admit that Fakku has, in fact, released real rape content before or will release it in the future (NTR^2). If some lawmaker or political group decides to attack Fakku for this, our reaction shouldn't be to deny or deflect their concerns e.g. its not rape cause she enjoyed it in the end -or- real rape is happening daily in Africa so this is no big deal.

Do you realize that the argument extends more than just 「it's fiction」? The full argument is 「while we recognize the problems present in certain hentai, we, as adults, can make a distinction between reality and fiction」. But if we can't even make a distinction between rape and not rape or fail to recognize these issues in the first place, that really hurts our argument and no one will take us seriously. And then they take it away from us. Game over. We lose. Sorry to sound all patronizing but like I said before, this is probably my favorite h-manga of all time. And I feel the best way to defend it, and likewise the healthiest way to enjoy it, is to be mature about its contents.

Let's keep the discussion civil. I don't think anyone is shying away from touchy subjects. It's just that you could argue that this particular story arc isn't rape.

It's a fictitious setting where servicing others is part of the students' duty, so it's no more rape than having to clean the classroom is forced labor.

I was going to review shoujo material but i can't access the page. Just like amazon the non verified reviews are meaning less and feel pay to review or troll. Still i feel like someone who can write a concise review should do all the books.

Please don't misjudge me. I share many of the same views you express.

Let me clarify my position. The women in the service committee are devalued and raped in the fictional society presented in the manga. Many would see this as obscene and would like to have such content restricted. They believe that consuming certain media pollutes consciences and specifically in this case, culturally normalizes dangerous views of sex and women. If we, as the consumers, display perverse social awareness, for instance not noticing any problems whatsoever with the treatment of women in Service Committee, this gives a lot of credibility to their argument such that, in their view, hentai has warped our moral judgement. Please consider that I do not hold these opinions myself and that I'm mostly arguing vicariously here to bring these real issues to our attention. This threat isn't limited to this manga either as it pertains to any controversial title in Wani's library which Fakku publishes. Blah blah, yada yada yada (やだやだやだー!) Honestly I'm really losing interest in discussing this any further. I just hope I've made myself clear and left something engaging to think about.

One nitpick. To call your opponents, those who want to moderate and censor fiction, totally unreasonable is dogmatic and delusional. The government does as a matter of fact moderate/regulate fiction with respect to copyright and obscenity laws and in general, regulates pornography. You may have strong opinions about those (as do I), but that doesn't negate their current legal standing.
