So what is the point of the FAKKU subscription?

New user here registered with the intent on reading all the latest Comiket 96 releases in english...

And yet after creating an account and signing up for the subscription, I was still asked to pay for a flat fee for the releases that I wanted to read???

What is the point of the subscription then? For comics that I am not interested in and are available on other sites for free?

Sorry for the confusion.

The Fakku subscription is for various magazine issues that are either monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, etc.
You can check out some of the more recent announcements Here.

Every day there's new content on the site that is translated and uncensored. When magazines issues go live in Japan we begin to simulpublish those issues as well here.

You also get discounts on purchases in store for being a Fakku subscriber.

Here is a list of content to come to the subscription until the end of the year for you to know what to expect: Magazine Previews: July-December 2019

We also sell premium items that aren't part of the subscription, for items such as books and doujinshi. Doujinshi are self published titles by artists and we work with those artists directly to either publish the doujinshi to make available to buy on here, or we redistribute doujinshi through other publishers who work with artists to make it so you can add them to your libraries.
