Suggestion: More info on the Artists

Hi everyone, I'm new to the Fakku Books forum.
I think that Fakku could greatly benefit by writing some sort of short introduction as who the artists are and the style of their works. This would be useful especially for people who aren't too familiar with the artists of the published Books.
Looking at Homunculus' page, https://www.fakku.net/artists/homunculus, it states that he is one of the "top hentai artists" but it doesn't really mention what kind of works he does, whereas on https://www.fakku.net/forums/hentai-manga-doujinshi-discussion/porno-switch, it's stated that...
I don't know, I just feel like if there was a centralized place on Fakku to easily find this information, it would be really helpful. (Sorry, I can't choose my words today)
I feel like the Promo pages (such as https://store.fakku.net/promo/porno-switch) would be an ideal place to add Artist introductions if they ever come.

Hisasi is part of the holy trinity of vanilla artists: Homunculus, Hisasi, and ______...

Yeah, I knew NaPaTa and Homunculus from before the takedowns so I was immediately drawn towards their works. It was somewhat difficult to try and find out more about the other artists though, I tried looking at the tags on the chapters, but they don't really tell you much IMO.
While I agree that most of the focus on a buyer would be on the sample pages, I think that if an artist's work is going to be featured on the front page of Fakku, it wouldn't hurt to talk a bit about him or her.

Yeah, to be honest, I never really heard of Hisasi and Napata before.
I did hear of Homonculus, but only because a friend of mine bought the japanese version a few month before Fakku announced the release of Fakku Books (by the way, he is salty)
However I do consider the page samples as sufficient argument for presentation, most of the times.
Some authors have licensed series in the U.S. I take an unannounced Wani artist, Ei Itou, as example, since one of his manga was licensed by Seven Seas Comics. I guess it'd be worth mentioning eventually when that case happens.

i've heard of Meme50, and Homunculus, but sadly of none of the others although I still enjoy those books which I have bought even though I don't know much about their creator.

I agree that would be kind of nice, barely knew what a doujinshi was until a few months back. Artist introductions like a few past works or noteable achievements would be fun to read and give you more attachment to the works your purchasing :)

While I feel that Artist Introductions (name subject to change), may not be necessary per se, it allows for a much deeper appreciation and respect for the artists. Personally, I would also find it really interesting to know more about the people who write and draw these doujinshi.

So I definitely like this idea. This is especially good for people who are discovering hentai and don't really know much of anything yet. Tags don't tell the whole story and that might create oversights. But it crossed my mind that FAKKU! published mangaka shouldn't be the only people covered. Getting the word out on other brilliant artists should also be encouraged, as that might generate enough demand for FAKKU! to publish them. But how?
So my first thought was to start some sort of hentai wiki. Or maybe a discussion platform where users can post their thoughts about a particular artist in order to get people's thoughts out there. There are many of us who are very familiar with a lot of hentai and can attest to the quality and satisfaction of a particular artist or work. But that still wouldn't tell the whole story, would it? You can write me 1000 excellently worded comments about how Homunculus' manga is sweet, how the girls are cute, and how the art is fantastic. But I still don't really know if it's my taste. This doesn't help me understand his style, what kind of girls he likes to draw, what kind of story he likes to craft.
And I think it's not until you actually consume the media that you really understand and can come to the conclusion: THAT'S MY FETISH. Or maybe not. And I don't want to encourage piracy here. FAKKU! has taken huge steps in becoming legitimate. But western hentai publishing is still very much in its infancy. There are only two publishers to speak of (afaik). It's our role as consumers to step up and actually buy things that we like. But what options does that leave us? It's not like we can go to some store and check out what's on the shelves.
I don't really know what the right answer is here. I think maybe providing free digital samples might be one way to go but that's not for us to decide.

Instead of creating a new thread... Does anyone know the style of Hyocorou of Melty Gaze? His art looks amazing but I don't tend to deviate too much from vanilla ;_;

Thank you. I may consider getting this. Who would you say is most like Homunculus and NaPaTa? I'm not too much into Oppai so I preferred Renai Sample to Prono Switch

Who would you say is most like Homunculus and NaPaTa?Out of Bosshi and Hyocorou? Hard to say, since I think they're pretty different; Homunculus is similar to NaPaTa, and Bosshi is similar to Hyocorou. Bosshi usually has a silly twist on things, so if I had to pick one, I'd probably say Hyocorou simply because there are more "serious" vanilla stories in that artist's book.

I'm not too much into OppaiBosshi has flat-chested girls, but I think they're always paired with some huge breasted ones. Hyocorou has some smaller breasts, but none of them are flat.

Ah awesome, I've always been a huge fan of NaPaTa and Homunculus, can't wait for Love-Ridden to come out. I'm always a huge fan of vanilla and average/small sized breasts such as anything released by Digital Lover. Never really got into larger sized breasts... D:
Thanks!
