What Are Your Favorite Magazine Covers?

Limit of 5 choices. All the choices must come from the Magazine Covers Topic. If possible, try to rank your choices starting from lowest to highest. Do not take into consideration the releases that came from these magzine issues. The only thing that should be in consideration is how much you visually liked the cover. You can put a brief description of why you like that cover if you want.

5) Kairakuten BEAST 2017 - 01. Brown skinned girl with a dynamite figure and a phat ass? Say no more.


4) X-Eros #55. That look on her face is what every man wants his girl to look like after they have sex.


3) Kairakuten 2018 - 03. I love the detail that was put into the wedding dress and how Michiking put a lingerie spin to it. I also love how her lower half is veiled but with just enough visible to make out certain details which then tease you and leave you wanting more. I also really like lighting in the veiled area. It really gives a sense of how radiant she looks at that moment.


2) Kairakuten 2020 - 02. First off, she is thicc as fuck. I keep hearing "Caroline" by Amine everytime I see this cover. Second, I love the detail that was put onto her bra. Third, you feel you can make out parts of the character's personality by just looking at the cover: she's confident, playful, stylish, ready and willing to get at it.


1) Shitsurakuten 2019 - 05. This cover is fucking bananas with how gorgeous it is. Things like the coloring, how the lines guide your eyes to her ass and accentuate how big it is, plus that lustful look in her eyes are just perfect. In my opinion, this is hands down the best magazine cover on FAKKU and it's not even close. Nanao's colored works are so good they really should be illegal.

This is gonna sound dumb, but I've always loved this cover just because of the little flabs of armpit skin on the boobs. I appreciate some realism haha. I love everything about this cover.

Actually, just to add something to the topic, I really like this recent one from X-Eros #80, as the design sure makes it stand out from the rest. The illustration is also a tie-in to the first Dagashi content I ever worked on, and I really enjoyed that series, which you can read here!

I can never, never forget Chidori's smile in the second and the final chapter of The Fox's Wedding by Kamizuki Shiki.



And definitely one cannot forget cover illusts by Homunculus. The character on the left is Yayoi and the character on the right is Ouse.

While Homunculus have drawn three more covers in 2019, there still aren't any accompanying stories.


Kaede and Suzu by Kyockcho -- yet another popular series. One can almost just tell it's Kyockcho from the characters' pose.

By the way, this month's Bavel cover, lovely Aina-chan, is also illustrated by Kyockcho. You can clearly see the characteristic. Same for this doujin release.


Sekiya Asami. Am not going to deny that I love stories by Sekiya Asami.



Finally, momi has always drawn amazingly hot cover girls. Interestingly, similar composition idea also reappears elsewhere.

This other one just stuck with me. First off, it's Range Murata, but I remember seeing this back in 2015 when the subscription was first starting and I've always just remembered it. I thought it was really cool; from her shoes, to her outfit, to the pose with a machine. And I didn't even notice it until now, but the text on that cover says, "This one stands out from the rest". How fitting lol
