Why not licence more magazines?

since no one will answer your question i will do it quick. niche fetishes don't generate numbers for fakku and so they won't be licenced. even if they have already the licence for some other magazines but they say they don't have time to translate them since the more popular "vanilla" mags get more attancion.

We published all the issues of Girls forM we had licensed. Anything else would have to be renegotiated.

they published a few books pre-pandemic, but nothing new since like 2017 ~ 2019. got corp doesn't allow uncensored overseas releases since 2022 anyway. so even if they would mend their relationship with fakku, nothing would come of it unless got corp changes their policy.

I mean vanilla is like 80% of the library here I mean if we're going to expand taste when we try to get more of the darker non-vanilla flavors I know Jacob is never going to go for my loli guro NTR but we can do a lot more of the chocolate covered or non-traditional taste in our repertoire and when I mean chocolate I don't mean the type that comes out of an orifice I'm talking about more of the darker content that doesn't include Curry. But I would pay good money for some darker type of content that includes mind break, NTR And maybe some lovely eye sockets.

I wouldn't be disappointed if we can get some more shindo l, Peta or Tsukusun

if it's about got not allowing uncensored overseas publications anymore, then you can just go to taiwanese retailers like future digi and see for yourself that they don't have uncensored got books for sale anymore. and if you mean fakku, then yes, got have been on the unavailable publisher list in the fakku book suggestion topic for several years now - well before taiwan stopped selling uncensored got books. fakku recently said that the publisher ti-net is available now, so maybe got may become available again one day, who knows.

luckily there are a few got artists that also started publishing via wani. the most well-known is michiking, more recent artists are gosaiji and yuzuto sen. danimaru only publishes via comic anthurium, but his non-derivative doujinshi are available via irodori comics.

also, here are the two got books fakku published in the past. the oldest comments are 6 years old, so i guess both were published by fakku in 2018. there may be more, but i don't remember those.

The difference is "we can license" vs "we have licensed." Older issues are on the table, which is not the case for other magazines.

I'm not trying to be condescending here, just trying to make this as clear as I possibly can.

Seven years ago, we licensed four issues, which were released.

We do not have an active license for anything beyond that.

If we were to release anything else, that would have to be a new license.


Licenses are for specific uses and titles, not carte blanche for an entire library. Even if we have an established partnership that gives us the option to license from said library, each item has to be requested, and once approved, a license can be granted. Before then, nothing happens.

thats what i wanted to know, that you don't have access to all the backissues as it was stated and we don't need to wait for any G4M magazine anymore.
