First, I was thinking this morning about how every so often I'll remember something that was mentioned on a thread and want to go back to it. I think there should be some kind of bookmark or quicklink function for threads or specific posts that users feel they might want to go back to either to reference them in future posts or might forget something and need to check them real quick. For example, someone bookmarks a post and a link shows up in a section on the profile page. I use the search function a lot and I know you can check past posts from individual users, but sometimes its a little too time consuming to have to go through so much just to find one thing.
I'm also thinking there should be some kind of section on the forums specifically for threads about pics. I know I'm not the only one who finds pics and wants to post them, either to discuss them or just because they're cool. It would work to make the random and incoherent babbling sections a little more organized if there was some kind of sub-section for image posting and discussion, or something along those lines.

I like your idea of favorite'ing or bookmarking forum posts, it is something that I also would like to see added. Most of the time the only reason things don't get done right away is because I am the only one working on them, and there are countless other things to be done.
For example g-money has mentioned a quick reply feature that I really want to get online, I have been trying to figure out the best way I want to do it.
However I don't think we need to have a separate forum section for image discussion, unless the majority of the community thinks it's a good idea. I listen to what everyone has to say and even if I think differently I'll gladly improve things that make the users happy.

You mean make our very own 4chan?No, its just an idea to have an area where people can go to talk about images they find, for whatever reason. A lot of those types of posts can fit into a number of sections. Instead of lumping them together with the rest of the threads in a bunch of different sections, it would kind of make sense, and it'd be a bit more organized, to consolidate them all in a single area.
