A gay fucktards keeps on -rep me.

Well I'm not really that active in forums this past few weeks coz of some work. But then I noticed some significant -rep frenzy against me. Some attention whore has been giving me -rep almost everyday. I really don't mind it but he -rep me for no reason at all. He tracks my old post and keeps adding -rep on it even if the topic is dead. Can someone do something about this its kinda annoying. I even don't remember if I gotten into a really heated argument to someone that makes the -rep gay to be doing this. Here are some post numbers. Notice the dates.

I can't seem to track the dates of some but this started july 1 and then I've been getting -rep everyday. I have a fellow fakku friend and I asked him to counter rep me but of course he can't keep up +rep me coz he also have it reserve for someone.

I wouldn't of -repped you in either instance, but more then likely disagreeing users -repped you because of your rather blunt responses that probably rubbed whoever repped you the wrong way. You shouldn't of been -repped, but I am pretty sure it isn't one person doing this.

Then explain why the -rep only occurs every 24 hours? And only one -rep everyday? If your saying it was done by multiple users then shouldn't I received 2 -rep in a day even if for one instances? And that post was done a long time ago and no one -rep me on the same dates that I posted it Tue May 12, 2009 6:29 pm, but why it only begin July 1?

After reading those posts I'm not surprised you got negged. Also, as was mentioned coincidence is very likely because once per day you pissed off at least one person who read your post. It happens.

This is not the place to complain about your reputation. If a user is deciding to take reputation from you every day, that is their own choice. Had you have sent me a private message I would have checked the logs to make sure no funny business was going on but because you decided to make a topic like this I will turn you into an example for the rest of the community.

The reputation you are losing is justified and completely within the rules of the forums. Instead of making a topic complaining about it you should seek to improve the quality of your posts so it doesn't continue to happen in the future.

Posting threads like this will only make more people -rep you.

No, I don't came here for the reps dude, that's really shallow even to consider. The site is great and some really nice fellow Fakkus and of course the Hs thats the main reason I go here. Anyway my apologies to great Jacob and others for wasting your time in my inconsiderate complain, I too is really a big noobz when it comes to this stuff. This will not happen again, I make sure to PM Mr. Jacob 1st. And for the fuckturd that's been doing this I hope this makes you really happy and keep up your backstabbing that's what cowards are really good at. Why not identify yourself to me so we can discuss this and clear this like all men do.

It is kind of senseless to complain about it. Whoever it is has a right to -rep you as many times as they want as long as they aren't doing it more than once it twenty-four hours, which I'm not sure how he/she would have accomplished that.

For about a week-and-a-half I had someone constantly -derep one of my posts in the abortion topic in SD (well, like you I assumed because they all happened within about 24 hours of each other,) and someone else who kept +repping that topic to counter it. It got annoying after a while so I mentioned something about it in that post and it eventually stopped.

For complaining about people -repping you your gonna get it even worse now >_> ain't no point complaining about it but rather change the way you make your posts now. I haven't seen your posts nor will I even bother taking a look but you must of said something in them to piss people off so it'll happen. If you make better posts then possibly the -repping will stop and you might get a +rep in there somewhere, same goes for pretty much anyone. Shit happens and now your being made an example of by Jacob lol.

I've gotten -rep for just posting working uploads correctly labeled in my own thread. I don't know why and don't quite care.
In the end I don't think that rep means a whole lot anyway.

Your best bet now is to improve on your posting. Making -rep thread rants won't help your situation but instead WILL make it worse.

Its common to have trolls that neg rep everyone in forums.

This is why i reckon rep is bad in forums. People get to worried about their rep and start getting "afraid" of being themselves in posts.

That's the problem. Good in theory, but it never works in practice.

People can either suck up to get good reputation, purposely act stupid because they think it is cool to have a negative reputation or have people who worry sick about it and don't even act like themselves because they are afraid as to how others will respond in kind.

well said. being yourself is the best thing you will always be, either in virtual community or RL. It happens that Im not into saying good to something that I don't agreed. So -rep doesn't really bother me as long as I have the liberty to read some good free Hs and have some good chitchat with my friends here is all that matter. The bad thing about having -reps is just it affects your credibility in some arguments and therefore some may consider your post iligetimate. Anyway.. this doesnt change anything for me, I will still be who I am and I will say whats on my mind.

Ugh I can't believe so few people pay attention/remember things. If any of you recall me and PD had a big discussion on some of the problems the forums face. One of these is the fact that when someone does something dumb everyone joins in the tell them. By the second time they probably get the idea and especially after what Jacob said and softbanker's reply to it there was no point for anyone to be saying anything in this thread. If I had the ability I'd -rep everyone in this thread (besides Jacob) just for being part of the problem.

Ramsus is free to give their two cents on the matter; if that wasn't the case than Jacob could have just as easily locked the topic once he said what he wanted to say. Maybe other people want to come in and talk about their similar experiences, and even reiterate what Jacob had to say. We are free to do that.
