Adult content with adult characters

I go back and forth being here and The one thing that continues to blow me away is the lack of or limited adult characters and ongoing series. There are webcomic platforms that though censored, provide ongoing series’s. Couldn’t you reach out to some of those artists and get some more mature characters and not just teens? And go for a better comic model with ongoing stories?
