Art and graphics section barren?

I made a thread asking for someone to do some Lip x Arle fanart for me because of my drawing skills being less than incompetent. I'm more of a writer.
Anyway I noticed just how barren the art and graphics section really is.
Made my post on the 14th. Checked back on the 15th. No replies and my topic was bumped down to 3rd from the top. I come back 10 days later to bump my post as I thought it would be in page 4 by now. still no replies and the same 2 topics above mine with only one or two new replying each. One on the 19th and one from yesterday. The rest haven't been touched since the 13th and before with the oldest reply on the first page being from June 30th.
For a site all about hentai I'm curious as to why the digital art and drawing section is so barren. You'd think people for people who come to a hentai site more people would want to learn to draw hentai of their own or make their own manga or something. I know there is a part of the forums for uploading hentai but that seems to be more for hentai that already exists on the internet and not for a hentai pic or manga made by a fan.
I just find it a shame that this part of the forums so quiet.

[color=#993300]Those who post on the Arts section aren't around anymore or don't draw anymore. If anything, don't expect to be able to find requests there. If you want something done, go to a more active section like requests or something.
I personally don't know who the hell you are talking about, so I can't help you there. And for the most part, people aren't going to draw requests without incentive (I rarely do)

You can't will the Arts and Graphics section to be active again. And making a thread about it won't do anything either. Unfortunately that's just the way it is. If you want a drawing, you'll probably have to either put it in the Requests section or commission it from Deviant Art or something (most likely at a price).
