Avatar changing bug

That happens when you try to change your avatar to something.
Both images are around 1000 X 700

I made an image that is 160 X 261; same result.


I have to take photoshop and the image I want to use as an avatar and make the image 160 X 260.
Clearing my cookies did not fix this.


Another bug: When you post a reply on a thread, delete the reply you just did, and try to post again, it is just so jacked up.
After you delete a post and try to post again (on the same thread), it first thinks you're trying to edit the post you just deleted,
and then it thinks your just posting (which is does not post what you type),
and THEN the third time it thinks you're trying to edit the post, but it is actually posting the reply inside the post editor.

Sometimes it allows me to post after the second try, and sometimes it allows me to post on the third try.

I have exactly same bug. Doesn't matter how big, or small, the image is, it just won't load correctly.

Clearing cookies or repeatedly refreshing had no effect.

I'm using FireFox btw.

Wanted to temporarily switch to CrashMan from ProtoMan, but this exact same bug has deterred me. I'm a saddened by this and hope it is rectified soon.

You mean you can crop to size on fakku's resizer function?

Normally, yes. But a bug has developed making the built in cropping tool that Fakku uses not usable.

You have to go into an image editing software, change the resolution of the image to 160 X 260, and then use that as an avatar; bypassing the built in cropper Fakku uses.

Same thing for me, not sure how some people managed to get past this.

I managed to change my avi on Firefox. It's still broken there but it's a different broken. When you resize how you want your avi the preview on the right doesn't show. You just have to go by the resize screen.

The avatar changing system works, but it's the resize screen that's the thing that's broken, I can't resize my new avatar.

I'll try Firefox to see if I will get better results, if not, I'll wait till the issue is properly fixed.

Gotta say I'm having the same problem, can't resize shit cap'n.
