Personally, I'm a bg fan of the monster girl tag, but something occured to me recently. I realize fakku has lika a buhzillion tags as it is, but the thing is, i'm not super interesed in demon girls. I mean, they're fine and all, and can make for some really good sory (does anyone not love diary of Purimu?), but they don't exactly get me 'hot'.
That's when it occured to me that i don't like 'monster' girls. I like 'beast' girls. Half-human, half-something else (or, more often than note, more like quarter human, three quarter something else) girls.
so I think they should split up the monster girl tag. Monstergirl proper should be reserved for the type of creatures you'd see in say Rosario+Vampire, succubi, vampires, werewolves, ghosts; you know, classic 'monsters' the type you'd see in movies of old stories.
The other tag should be beastgirl, those human-animal/insect hybrids that you see in SPg and Sg and Jingai Shunman, the stuff that made me fall in love with the 'monstergirl' tag in the first place.

Unlikely, also a hassle for no real reason, not to mention most of the time you can just look at the cover to see what type of monster girl is involved.
