Broken Avatar Image?

So, I tried to change my avatar moments back, and the resizer came out as a broken image. Figuring it's some bug, i changed my avatar to 160x260 and put it into my profile, and well...

this happened.

It's pretty depressing to see a broken image on my page...

I tried stuff like checking the page source, and under profile avatar i saw a link to the image.

When I typed in the link...It didn't work.



So, i tried inserting new images periodically to see if it works...no joy.
If i try to resize the picture (That broken picture thing)...

And as you can see, my image as the OP of this topic, it's still broken...

I guess i could live with this for awhile, but if possible i'd like my avatar to be restored somehow...

Also, on a side note, my notifications is always stuck at "1 Notification" although i have checked every mail and comment replies. If for example I get 1 reply, it adds on to become "2 notifications", and returns to "1 Notification" when i finish checking it.

Well, at least now I know it's not just me. Is it the site problem, i wonder?

I made a lot of changes this weekend and this one slipped by. It should be fixed now :)

Thanks a bunch! It works for my messages to friends and my posts in other forum topics. I finally have an avatar again!

Though i still have the problem with the 1 notification still being there all the time, and I'm starting to wonder if my Signature won't update since i did update it and nothing shows.

the image I want to use is in the middle third of a horizontal rectangle. all I can get the resizer deal to do is show the left hand third. i can't move the piece that's to supposed to show the image. it's stuck all the way to the left. when i left click to try to drag the resizer piece, it drags the image itself instead.

i hope this makes sense, as i am barely computer literate.

So, I tried to change my Avatar image again (tried resizing) but in the resize page it showed that broken image thing again so I stopped. Is the problem here again?

Yep, seen multiple people (including myself) having the same problem.
