Changing Fakku Summary

A quick summary of what has been happening to Fakku in the last year for those who do not lurk on the forms. " Why is there paid content now?" Fakku became a large site for English speakers to enjoy hentai over the years with great interface, many tags, and a community, but because of the size, it has gathered attention from publishers that have filed law suit against Fakku, forcing them to remove unlicensed content owned by said publisher. This has always been an ongoing battle on Fakku, but when "Wani" filed against Fakku it forced them to remove a TON of content. Instead of just letting this happen, Jacob and the other members of Fakku made a deal with Wani so they could legally sell their content on Fakku. "Paid content is fine but what is happening to all the Free content?" Free content will always be available on Fakku. You may have been noticing a lot of content marked "Subscription." At first this content will be behind a pay wall, But as the library increases, some of the content will be available for free. How has not been decided yet. It might be a few stories will be free with each magazine, or a round robin approach where you will be able to see some of the stories for a week, and then next week you will be able to see a different set of stories. "Whats with the Subscriptions?" In short, High quality, uncensored, Hentai, strait from the artist you can pay for. Don't want to buy it. That is fine, Fakku as plenty of other content completly free. While it is still up in the air if everything needs to be removed, Fakku knows it needs to, and wants to keep providing free content and there always will be, but now that Fakku is working with publishers to provide high quality content, they have both higher costs, and publishers that want their cut, so having some content for sale helps keep Fakku in business, not to mention allowing them to support the artists. "Will Fakku continue to host scanulations" Currently yes. Fakku wants to support scanualations, but in the future, maybe. It depends on how the negotiations with the publishers go. "What happened to my favorite tag? i.e. loli, incest, monster girl, exc..." In short, Controversy. While Fakku will still host content with loli, incest, monster girl esc, These tags where removed because not every country is okay with these tags. Fakku still posts this content though, just without the tags, for now. "Will the removed tags come back?" Yes, Fakku has already made plans to give back all the tags that were removed, eventually. All removed tags will be added back at some point and members on Fakku will be the only ones who will be able to see them. This only applys if you have Controversial tags enabled in your settings. If you made your account before Aug. 2014, then this option will be enabled by default and you will see the tags as soon as Fakku enables them. If not then you will have to go into your settings under user preferences and change it. "I miss the old Fakku." While the new Fakku might not be to everyone's liking, It was not really avoidable. Fakku became one of the largest sites for English Hentai and have gained the attention of major companies that previously thought very little about the English market. On the down side this means it would be very hard for Fakku to continue supporting pirated content on it's site while avoiding legal action. The plus side is that Fakku has opened the hentai Market to English speakers and we can now support the artists that we enjoy by paying for their products. (Edited September 2015)

Posting in 2017 and still no return of the old "Forced" tag.

You guys are really just shooting yourselves in the foot erecting a paywall and removing tags for specific fetishes. You can do one or the other but not both.

To be quite frank, I would totally be willing to pay for a website that was well organized and satisfies all my kinks and I would also visit free websites that don't necessarily cater to everything I want, but I will absolutely not pay for a service that doesn't satisfy my kinks.

Building your own store with the legal license required is not erecting a paywall, As all the works done in Fakku was translated and published by Fakku themselves. Wani Magazines just provided the uncensored drafts.

If you're looking for a Paywall, look at HentaiKey or Doujin Moe.

Also CHECK your ACCOUNT settings before going into an ignorant Rant.
