CTFG Page number bug

[color=#993300]Ok, finally going to get this pointed out, though it might have been done so already. Nevertheless, we still need awareness for this. Chat Topics and Forum Games is currently plagued by a bug where when a new page is started, it takes additional posts after the first post on the new page for the page to be shown up on the actual thread list. For example, I post on Thread X and start new page Y as a result. However, it may take up to an entire page of additional posts for the page number Y to show up.

Noting that the problem has become progressively worse over time, I have come to the conclusion that the bug is due to the accumulation of posts over time. Thus, it would make sense to delete the older locked threads in the Chat Topics and Forum Games section, or just delete the older threads all together.

The issue is either that or it could also be from the high and fast amounts of posts made in a short amount of time. Got to keep in mind that a lot of users post there pretty fast, more so then the the rest of the areas of the site, so the site is probably having trouble keeping up with us.

Either way, hopefully this can be addressed, since I know it's been frustrating for both users and mods.

This is a silly idea and does in no way reflect how any forum database would work.

It isn't just CTFG that suffers from the bug, it's site-wide. It seems to be CTFG-only because that's the forum which most frequently has large threads.

[color=#993300]A very very warranted thread bump. Most threads in CTFG have problems from 5-13 posts while a few have problems exceeding an entire page. I'd like to politely request a fix for this, at least a temporary patch.
