Descriptions

There should be brief descriptions whenever you click to view a series, stating what form of series it is, videogame, tv show, etc, and then a brief plot description. Fairly simple and I think itd be much appreciated.

I think the uploaders are supposed to write the description, but they don't. Maybe we can have some trusted members given the right to write descriptions?

I think mason is talking about the series a manga is based on, not the specific manga. i think it's a good idea because i'm not really an anime/manga fan beyond hentai. most of the hentai based on something else often assume a knowledge of characters and/or story.

Well we did this in the past, and all Fakku uploader and Helper can edit the manga information.

Rather than adding more people, we just need to make sure uploaders makes a simple a description.

Ah, I see. I guess it can work that way as well.

We're slowly going through a lot of the older uploads and adding tags and descriptions.

As to the descriptions of anime series, I'd say check ANN's encyclopedia. And for descriptions of original series, give a look over each chapter's description.

You could give helpers the ability to do it. We could add descriptions + thumbnail images for the series too.

For manga you have www.mangaupdates.com for almost any franchise a doujin could be based on.
