Also, to revisit the issue, fine DB safety means only one person has access to change things around.
Still my suggestions stand, the report button should give reports to all moderators and maybe even fakku helpers. One of them can then reupload the broken file in question. And the one person with access can then redo the links so that current working links are up.
Also, the issue with the character ' being garbled into ’ needs to be fixed.
There are several issues raised in this thread, dozens of solutions... something should be implemented instead of just leaving things broken.

Removing broken links we already established only one person has the power to do. The site owner. Even super admins are forbidden from it. This is ridiculous.
And he is also the only person to see broken link reports so there is a near zero chance of an admin just randomly seeing my post with the new alternative link in an older manga and adding it.
Look, there are several upper level admins in this thread and all of them admitted they are completely powerless here and this is unsolvable. So how about one of them contacts the site owner and asks him to kindly look at this thread.
As I said there are dozens of possible solutions but none can be implemented without the site owner.

It's not like one uploads a h-manga just to get it's link in the list of download links. Users gets the links from the commentary and downloads from there, I uploaded a h-manga the other day and posted it's link in the comments, and there were over 90 downloads in a night. As long as people can see the link and uses it; it's no big deal - they're still getting what they want. No need to get Jacob to grant powers to people he may not fully trust or do something that he'll take ages to do so (because he's lazy).
Also, Jacob probably saw this thread and just moved onto another one, if he hadn't replied to it, it just means that he has nothing to say or is too lazy to read up everything in here.
