Edit Polls?

Hi, I'm just wondering if Fakku could have some kind of poll editing system? Sort of like we can add more options or take away. Even give users a chance to re-vote. Just a little idea I would like to throw in.

Agreed with editing polls after they're made. But maybe add a restriction to how many times you can edit it after it's made.
It's something that's been needed for a while.

Would invalidate the poll results. Next time report your thread, have it deleted and make a new one.

I have a thread for the artist Renard and since the thread was made He has made some more aliases and because I can''t add them I now how to remove the thread as a whole? That's kinda stupid in my opinion.

My point is that all those who voted before you added new options would invalidate the numbers. I have wished for the option to edit the things you could vote for but then people would change the poll completely and might use them to troll. If you don't like the poll you made report it.

Yeah, I see your point. I'll just have to stick with having his aliases in the OP instead.

Perhaps we could allow the thread starter to edit his/her polls, provided no one has voted. It could work along the same lines as the deletion of a topic, provided no other user has posted a reply in the dicussion.

Giving people an option to vote again.

i like this idea because if it resets, and all votes are undone, that avoids skewing the results or the possibility of trolling.
small aside: front page polls allow multiple votes(as long as they are still on the front page). it's been like that for a very long time.

It didn't give me an error message but it also didn't add my second vote. Do you do anything special to vote twice?

a long time ago, i vaugely remember* voting on a poll in the thread itself, and then as i was skimming the comments, i saw a post i had made some time before. i don't think i would have commented with out voting, but i have no proof, only the lingering shadows in the dregs of my drug addled mind.
i should have checked again before i posted here. my mistake, sorry to waste your time.
*[size=10]i can't remember useful details like what the poll was about, or when it was[/h]

It happens, if you see anything else like that let us know.
