fail to connect to server?

well, i can browse the forums just fine, though when i try to download some doujins "fail to connect to server" is it net traffic?

If any of the downloads are using MegaUpload, that'll be why. That site was shut down yesterday for Copyright infringement, in other words, another bid to suck up huge amounts of money from a big business for something they can't control. I don't know if they're bringing it back up, but using their I.P address to access it suggests that they are.

I think it depends on the country you are trying to access from. Some of them have site restrictions.

I'm having this problem too. I actually can't ping the file.fakku.net server at all (it times out).

But, I've had this problem before. Fakku links seem to go up and down here and there so I just check once or twice every day xD. They'll be back eventually, until then, just keep a list of things you want and download when they're up. Otherwise just view em online ^__^.

What's the name of the country you had the problem in?

if you mean, where i live, i live in the philippines, though i dont think its related to the country,since i was downloading and accessing files just fine a day ago

im beginning to think its somehow related to the SOPA thing, maybe sites are removing licensed files to keep safe( specially sukebei nya torrent since most of the torrents there are licensed)

EDIT: So much hurt I guess?

We have had several Philippines-based users with the same complaint. I think it may have to do with the country's own censorship policies, NOT S.O.P.A. (that's something that did not/has not passed, and would be in the US).

There was some sort of go-around, I think. Something to do with manually altering the url so you could see the page view version of a doujin.
