Fakku Subscription
0
I have been a member of Fakku for about 4 years now. I'm glade Fakku has implemented the subscription option but now it seems that everything is becoming either Fakku Books, or Fakku Sub. I have been a sub for about 1 month now and i cant deny that i don't like getting these titles and i love to read them. During my sub i have noticed rarely any free good titles. Will it be like this for a while? Or will it go back to normal with more free titles and not everything being Fakku Books or Fakku Sub? The only reason im asking is because, once this sub runs out i dont know when i will be able to get another sub! I still want to read fakku daily!

We'll most likely add some type of free content next year, we still haven't figured out exactly what we want to do yet. Once we figure it out I'll make a post detailing what we have planned.
That said, an important thing to remember is that without the subscription none of this content would be available at all. The subscription cost pays for the team of people working on the magazines, the costs associated with officially licensing the magazines, and it pays the artists who are creating all of this in Japan. Without subscriptions the only content on FAKKU would be the current free content (the scanlations).
Subscribers are making it possible to release so much new content. It's thanks to all of you that we have been able to release so much from so many artists (including artists that have never been read in English before). It feels like there is a lot of paid content only because we are doing our best to release as much as humanly possible. Without books/subscriptions none of it would be getting released at all.

Thank you Ghoulstorm for asking this question.
As a currently "Not-Subscriber" (mainly due to the fact -> no Paypal) i am stuck with Free releases.
Being a User for nearly 2 years and using the site for 4 years i never seen so little releases during the last 1-2 months (forgive me, might just be a side effect of seeing so many subscription releases).
Anyways, thanks for the informations Jacob, makes me want the PayPal Option even more.
Cheers

Just hit the one year mark here, and I'm feeling slightly left out with the new content being 90% subscriber only, when I can't afford the subscription. Any chance to for non-members to have a choice to "opt-out" of getting notifications for subscription works? I mean hell, there are times I log in and see 20+ notifications and 19 of them are subscription works. I get that it encourages those who can to subscribe, but for those of us who can't it can get kind of annoying.

Lots of work to implement it for free items, which will not be a thing soon, and then eventually be on a rotation

There no notifications for subscription works. You have notification for tags they contain in.
