Fakku subscription payment type is illegal in my country

Yeah, just re-sub. There is code in place that if a card is declined it kills the sub. So basically, it tried to charge you but the address verification failed so it declined.



Hmm... yeah :( sounds like they maybe banned the use of cards with us. We'll investigate on our end as well.

What I can't understand is how can I pay on Porn Sites but not here on fakku.
I just don't get it.

Yeah D: that's super weird. I don't think we changed anything that I know of on our end that would start declining cards like this.

I don't really know how many ways there are to charge CC but how come porn sites have absolutely no issues but you do ? Is it a http code ? Or a service/app that you can add to your internet site ?
Are there various services/types to charge a CC ?

I bet it's something stupid like a hidden option or something of the kind lol

I'm back and with information about this matter, had to phone left and right until I got a person with some brains in the head.

Now, to why I can't pay on your site.

- Your payment method (your processor ?) is in my country's black list for micro fraud usages.

The agent told me that the payment method you use is used to illegally ( meaning without the client actually initiating a payment ) check ( by billing micro sums ) if a VISA card is active.
The agency that makes Credit Cards in my country contacted them and informed them they're on the black list for doing that but that didn't bother them much.

He told me that this doesn't mean that it is totally blocked, he said that these micro credit card bills/checks are "micro amounts" and that they only blocked amounts from 0.01 to 11.X €.

Your subscription is 12$ which is 11.something here so that's the reason why you get blocked.

He told me that if you would, as an example, have the client being able to pay upfront for a whole year of membership that it would probably work.

He also mentioned that you would have, in case your business cease to exist in that year, to repay the amount that's left "unused". Like if I pay for 12 months and you cease to exist in 6 then you should resend the money for the remaining 6 months.

But that part seemed to be them demanding stuff.

Anyways, if you're okay with it or if it is possible for you, can you make it so that your clients can choose how long of a subscription they can pay for ?

Like with being able to subtracting 12$ every month we could also pay for 6 months or a year in advance for membership.

If you can do that maybe I could finally pay you guys ...


Oh! he also said that bank transfers work too, duh.


All in all he was very cooperative and a nice person, unlike all the other 20 I had to explain and re-explain why the hell I'm even calling them.


So there it is man, the reason why it's not working for me.
All I want is to pay you guys ... why do I have to be the only one who can't ? *sad*

:O!!! Thank you for investigating this stuff on your end. We've been scratching our ends trying to figure it out. Our processor would just keep telling us that everything is fine on our end.

That all makes a lot of sense now. We are already in the process of working on bank transfer method. We will look into the other stuff too.

Was like 3h phoning around to get this.

Anyways if you're going to make bank transfers then I can do a monthly sub that way!

Also having the choice between 1m > 6m > 1y would be nice too I think.

Bank transfer is en route sometime soon apparently

So here's an update to this matter.

The company who handles the credit cards in Luxembourg got bought over by another one.
This new company is much move flexible, after telling them my issues they resolved it in 30 minutes.

Now I'm finally subscribed to FAKKU! and I have much to read ...
