Feature request: Blocking tags

Hey all,
Sorry if this has been suggested a million times (I didn't find a way to quickly search topics), but certain tags really kill my mojo and being able to block them from even being shown to me would be great. "Follow"ing tags is super useful, this is just the opposite of that. I love when I log in after a long absence and there's a boat load of notifications. But then some of them end up having stuff I don't like in them and I've already clicked on 'em! Agh!
I know some of you will accuse me of being vanilla. Sure, but just think: with such a feature YOU could block the vanilla tag! Win-win! (although... the site has a lot of vanilla these days... might need to be careful, heh)
