Feedback+Sugestion: Edit function for content-comments
0
Well the title says it, i think. I just read some content but I had commented before reading (knew the content already, just wanted to state a fact about it, then read it and wanted to ask a question) and then you have only 2 options:
-to replay to yourself (feels kinda off to me)
-or comment new again
It would be nice if we had the possibility to edit the comment (which would also reduce post-clutter, don't you think?!)
Well thats my mustard^^ (hard to translate an expression into another language^^)
Edit: Not in the forums, on the site reading a hentai for example.
Just a sec I'll make a screen...

There is an edit function for all the posts you've made. Being able to post again is restricted to the creator of the forum, with a few exceptions when bugs occur. In fact, replying to yourself shouldn't let you make another post, rather, it should edit the one you've already had, again, if you are to the creator of the post. Add a screenshot to help clarify things. There should be an edit button
Edit: My point exactly, you can edit your posts

I would support this depending on how much trouble it would be for Jacob and co. Because, to be honest, no one cares about the comments on manga. They are stupid. However, with all the Fakku Books stuff going on right now, I feel as though, at least right now, adding edit to stupid manga comments is not worthwhile until down the road.

Oi, that a much needed clarification. In all honesty, there isn't too much trouble in copying what you said, deleting the comment, and pasting the aforementioned comment. But yes, it be nice if people cared for these comments more. But since they don't, don't expect too much.

But since they don't, don't expect too much. There's too much of this attitude that nobody cares about Manga comments, when obviously people do. It's a core component in conveying one's opinion on a particular manga or doujin, which does help in giving a first impression of it. It's a tad unfair to simply dismiss the Comments section because of the cancerous role-play shit people post for Upvotes.
Yeah, it would be nice to reply to a comment which is already a reply to another comment. It would also be nice to Edit like we can on the forums.
You can edit comments on Ex.[/h]
It's a small change (thought don't know how small code-wise) but it would be nice to get them somewhat up to scratch with the forums.

I didn't mean to dismiss it as unimportant. After all, they are the places where users make their first comments. However, from a moderator or developer standpoint, there really isn't much of a point in paying too much attention to it. Considering that there isn't much wrong with it and much more activity in the forums, it would take more priority no?
