Giving science it's own forum
Do you think a science section, or a science subcategory in Serious Discussion would be a worthwhile endeavor?

I personally love science in every form I've found it. Biology, chemist, physics, sociology, and pure nonspecific curiosity seem like a great area for discussion. I realize it's probably been attempted brute a free times, but I'm hoping this time that there's enough support to do something about it.

Post threads related to science in either random or SD depending on the topic.
Or fake science in IB.

I know, I'm not new. I just wanted an area specific to it. I know standard procedures now. I simply think a science forum would be nice is all.

[color=#2e1a6b]If it's a detailed post that will create a discussion, it should be fine in the Serious Discussion section. Anything less should be posted in the Random section

Sure you do.I want to know more about the universe in general. Its much more than a simple want though. It's not the same as "wanting" an Xbox or "wanting" more money, it's a genuine desire. I want to understand what Stephen Hawking means when he mentions imaginary time, I want to know if there's a particle opposite to the Higgs Boson. How does a particle have spin 2 or spin 5/8? They're all legitimate questions that I honestly admit are out of my grasp for the moment. Wanting to better understand the cosmos is something I already knew was a noble cause long before I happened upon Carl Sagan's legendary series. Yes, I "like" the facebook page, but that's because it's humorous. I don't seek knowledge from facebook, I go there for entertainment. I'm just saying that I genuinely do love science and specifically the heavy ideas of physics.
