Having Trouble With FlashGames

They work for me and I'm using Firefox. It may be that too many people were trying to use them.

Got the same problem, Some games NEVER work for me, no matter how many times i try or how long i wait.. Been trying to get the Aisha FULL to work for like 2 hours now and it only has 105 views.. Any other things that may be causing this?

same here aswell, only a few work for me, the rest never worked. am using FireFox and got all the flash programs up2date...

Same problem here, I tried using both firefox & IE some seem to work, but others don't, especially the haruko one, I've been wanting that one to work since I joined

Basically we find sites to host the flash games, and then they take them down because the bandwidth hurts leaving us with dead links.

If you list off all the ones I can go in and fix them individually, otherwise it won't get fixed until I have time to check each one.

I just uploaded a Flash Game myself.
But if i try to view it via the Flash Game Section, it doesn`t work.
However the Game itself seems to work.

Maybe he did read it. Maybe he was merely stating that all of them were now down instead of just certain ones and that all of them needed to be fixed.

In retrospect, after trying them all myself, I have to say you are probably right in saying that he didn't read. Or Kyoh just didn't try them all as I have and assumed that none were working. Or the last thing could be that none are working for him and it really only has something to do with his comp. Either way, there is an updated list of what is and isn't working.

I may look into repairing flash games with the help of Jacob and his SQL editing [which I can't do, because I have no access to the SQL database], but that would be later in the week when I sort out the flow of my life. Thanks for posting a list of working/non-working sets, but I'll still go through them all personally. The reason there is problems is because the original hosting site changed their file structure and shutdown indefinitely.

Edit: Oh jesus. Lots of people have linked to the /view.php?file=file.swf. This is not the correct way to do it, and I will attempt to get Jacob to fix it when he's next around and I'm available.

since so many people have trouble with flash games i would suggest to put up a sticky with [flash] game troubleshooting :S
