Hiding the comment section (and collections stuff)

Hey,
any chance for a setting to hide the comment section on all releases? A minor feature for sure, but one I'd really appreciate. They're a pain in the ass to hide using uBlock as well since they're not grouped together in the HTML. I can't use uBlock on the device I read on anyway but just saying.
While I'm at it, I couldn't find any way to edit existing collections, for renaming or making them private or public. If the feature doesn't exist it'd be a nice one to have as well.
I'd also prefer that the collections defaulted to showing the newest manga added instead of whatever happened to be first. There was another thread suggesting that you should be able to choose the image yourself, either one would be an improvement.
Thanks for reading.

I'll throw in my vote for the second and third option, those sound like good editions with the second one seeming the most necessary. I'm curious why would you want/need to hide the comment sections though?

Well, the reason is simple enough: I don't want to see the comments. Same reason I used to hide Youtube comments. It's not a big deal but seems simple enough to implement that I figured I'd ask regardless. It's fine on desktop but I read on a tablet where the comments cover half the screen, and I honestly can't just not read text that's right in front of me.
I do understand that it's probably not a hotly requested feature.

Same with every other youtube videos, I just simply don't scroll down.

I suspect your suggestion won't be implemented but this could be made into a browser extension pretty easily. I don't have time for this right now but I'll throw it together for you if I remember later.

Not a bad idea, I personally want an option to hide the thumbnails on the information page (I realize a lot of people like them). I'll look into adding some options.

It does work on desktop. It's my go to strat on Youtube right now, though my Disqus game definitely needs work. On a tablet however, a lot of the ones with less comments can't be scrolled down period:

I can't even install another browser on this thing. I appreciate the thought anyway.

Some time ago the thumbnails showed only up if you weren't logged in or hadn't a subscribtion and now we have them all the time and I hate them...

There actually was a function for doing that, but it was removed recently...
