How does downloading a manga work?

I saw that I can buy a paperback of Ima Real and I'm a fan of his work, so I want to buy it. I would pick it up at rightstuf, but it says I get a digital downloadable version if I buy it here. Was wondering how you download it here if I was to buy it. Like is it a torrent, zip, rar. I don't like torrents, so if it was I was just going to pick it up from Rightstuf when I get some more anime, but if it's a zip or something I was going to pick it up here.
