Heh, I was wondering if someone could help me with something for a sec...namely, I've never actually been able to get any torrents to work...I get as far as downloading them, then they simply don't work...its kinda annoying^^'....so...could anyone help me? (Wanna make sure I can get the game to work before I bother downloading^^')I posted this else where and it was suggested I make a topic here (Suprised I never thought of that.)
And if the information helps anyone....
The file type usually says nothing more then .torrent, though it occasionally says rar.torrent
If there is anything else you ned to know to help me with my problem, please ask away

You need a program like uTorrent or Azureus. You can google those. Honestly, I never used torrents. They always DL slow for me.

Already got UTorrent, asw well as BitTorrent before that. Programs not the problem. The problem is I can't get the gaames to start, namely because I don't know how. I know what you mean about the slowing down though, thats why I usually do the downloading and stuff at night. That way I can have my comp doing that while I sleep. By the time I'm awake its usually done^^

See that little tab with Files on it? Click it. there are the files you downloaded. You can specify which ones you want from the start, and while it's downloading. Also, keep an eye on the default download directory. Please don't hesitate to PM me if you need help in this matter.

Your question seems kind of vague to me, but here goes.
The .torrent file itself is ONLY for downloading the game/movie/file you're after. Once you open the .torrent file in whatever client you may be using, your drive allocates the space for it (for many BT clients at least). So hopefully your download is actually complete before you try to use it.
Assuming that your download is complete, and you know where the files downloaded to, you probably need to tell us the type of files that were in the download itself.
If the thing you downloaded is a .iso file, you'll need to either burn the image onto a cd so you can play it or get a program to mount a virtual drive (Daemon Tools works great).
If the thing you downloaded is a .rar you'll need to get WinRAR and extract the files and then look through them.
If it came as a group of files already there's probably a .exe and that will either be the setup file to install the game or the game itself.
Good luck and if you could post more information I'm sure someone could help you.

Alright, well from the looks of it I'd say its a mix of .exe and .rar. The problem is the .rar won't work, I have a .rar opener, but it claims I don't have a program that can open or use the file (and I think I may no part of the problem with the other files)

Google it or just go to download.com. It will make your life a whole lot easier.

As animan09 said, install WinRAR. The problem you are having is that Windows does not recognize your "rar opener" as the default program for manipulating .RAR files. Installing WinRAR and leaving all the options on default will fix this. If you navigate to where you downloaded the files, you can possibly use your "rar opener" on the files by dragging them into said application.
