I'm not trying to be an ass; it's just that i thought that it would be unfair if some people don't follow the rules and still get away scott free... I happen to like fileserve, but decided to go MU or MF just so that I could upload stuff in fakku since it was in the rules...

It's not like some users who basically uploads everything like doujins/mangas and try to make money off of them when it wasn't even the said person who translated/edited it.

I have permission from Jacob. As you know fileserve makes quite a bit of money depending on the amount of downloads it gets. Being fakku it sometimes made a lot. On my account (some uploads were done with Raze or someone elses account which means more was made than this but I don't have the exact number) we have made a grand total of $744.72. What I do with the money is first use the cash to pay the translator for their services. In order get already experienced translators and those who have a good knowledge of Japanese and English instead of someone random I had to pay them. Simple as that. Other groups do this too. Erobeat pays their translators as well. We can make numbers from $30 a release which was made with Milk pot or an outstanding $300 a release which was done with Princess lover (Very rare and has never happened again). The average is somewhere over $60.

Next I use the money for a server that is used for seeding and creating the torrents for this group and many other fansub groups. Also we do encoding on it. This server costs about $300 a month but it is split between five people for a total of $60 a month.

Lastly we use the money to buy DVDiso for shows that don't show up. I am currently sitting on that Poju work that was suppose to come out last month but no one ever ripped it. A translator is currently working on that release but it is really fucking long compared to your average hentai. It was also used to buy the 15 bishoujo girls iso. These iso are sent to someone in Japan for upload and not kept by myself.

I can assure you that none of this money was used for selfish purposes besides the one time I gave someone $15 which won't be happening again. It is invested back into the community. Actually because of the server costs it forces us to keep releasing because I currently can not pay for that with my own pocket.

There is currently about $70-80 in our bank waiting to be used for the server costs in September.

I see I see; sounds fair enough (Didn't read wall-o-txt but got the jist of it @_@) If Jacob allows it, I'm in no position to argue. plus you got your right, being part of a translating team and all.

Sorry if I had to make a post like this;

using fileserve to pay translators/servers/other so you can get your daily does of transalted stuff = No Problem, since you have a legit reason.

Using fileserve for your own needs and to makes things worse using other peoples files for uploades = Problem, like how tymek/Diva uploads.. Seriously can we perma-ban this guy

Unless I somehow encoded it poorly and its misreading some things which is totally possible but unlikely, 1hr and 42mins. Ya it is pretty long. It's like a movie. It is gonna take a while to finish especially since the only translator I could get to do it is not the fastest either.

I've been handling it for the past two weeks, actually. I banned Diva, exchanged PMs back and forth letting him now that he cannot use those filehosts and that I will permaban him if he keeps it up. I unbanned him and he still did it. I banned him yesterday, hopefully he won't be a problem again.

DON'T USE BANNED FILEHOSTS.

Addendum: using file-hosts that provide pay-backs is only permissible with prior approval from the management and only if you can demonstrate that the income is dedicated to purposes useful for the translation scene/hentai community and do so in a transparent fashion.

Question. Sometime when i post in my thread there files that are too big for me to upload with my crappy wifi.. can i just post the translators or hentai sites fileserve or it's equivalent?
