Image gallery

When is it coming back? I'm just curious if there's an ETA or something.

At the moment I have no idea. After taking it down I started optimizing a lot of other things around the site in addition to working on the image section. Turns out there are a lot of little changes that can be made to improve how certain parts of the site run.

So once I finish going through everything I will go back to fixing up the image section.

Long story short: hopefully soon.

man to run site like this must take alot of time especially for doing it for free! Im sure all of us is greatly thankful for this. I would just go on site take the pic and be done, now i wanna give back but i have so many pics for you guys. I hope the image site comes up again soon. I have few doujins but their not worth it personally cause their poorly made but if you guys want them ill upload them.

Just have patience I'm sure theyre doing whatever they can to get the image gallery back up as soon as possible (or are you guys slacking? :o ) hope not.

Will the Image section resets it's collection to zero, or will it retain it's original contents?

It should have all the old images in it.

Bothering Jacob won`t help getting the Image Gallery back online.

Let's just say that bringing it back up is an insane task. I have seen first hand what Jacob would really like to do, but I find porting the application he wishes to use no mean feat. I am starting to take the time to try and find one that may be easier to work with, but I guess I haven't actually taken enough time to look at the source of the one that Jacob wants to use.

We're all busy, and this task is one beyond our "instant fix" abilities.

It's either the old one and it's ability to lag the server or any new one we find that won't be so Query intensive.
