Issues with Surfing Fakku on PS3

Ok, i'm a Very big fan of this site (Evangelion manga has to be my favorite :3 ) But, a few months ago, right after the big server crash, I haven't been able to view Fakku throught the PS3 Web Browser. It just shows a long string of code on a white background. Please, Please Help me with this! I will forever be greatful.

PS. I didnt bring up this sooner because I would use my PC.. but my power supply burned out recently.. -_-''

my browser works fine. its been a while scence the crash so everything should be fixed. just check your connection and or update to the latest system software.

The only time that happens is when FAKKU! is down other then that it should work. also have a clear connection between the ps3 and access point. radio's,microwave's ,cellphone's can tamper with the wireless signal.

I found out a way to get on! The pages work if you're logged in but, weirdly enough, the login page works weather you're logged in or not. So if u go straight to the login page (https://www.fakku.net/login) you can log in and view Fakku! on your PS3!

PS. If https://www.fakku.net/login doesn't work, try https://www.fakku.net/login.php

Hi I really love this site it's really organized and easy to navigate but ever since the site went down for awhile the one time I've never been able to check out the site on my ps3 anymore. Which is the only place I would really visit fakku on, but then the other day I try visiting and to my suprise it works. Until I try reading a manga and then I get the same jumbled text screen I use to get. And I know it's probably not a priority or anything and might get fix later, who knows but I would really love if I you guys could maybe fix it so people using ps3s and other systems which might be having problems viewing the site can access it again.

So that other thread right bellow this one that says "PS3 Problems" didn't make you wonder what that thread could be about.

For the 100th million time..IT DOES WORK ON THE PS3!!!
check your internet connection,update to the latest version,and keep a clean connection between the ps3 and access point.

dude.what possible problems can there be?unless there is something wrong with ur ps3.
have a clear connection,keep radio waves away from the ps3 and access point and check your connection statues.maybe your connection is slow who knows.sometimes the pages wont load because the servers are over crowded and/or fakku is down.

The problem might be with the type of PS3 you own. I own an older 80GB model and have problems viewing. Sony's changed things around ALOT since the original 60GB system, the hardware inside the console might have something to do with it. If so, then there's really nothing you can do on your end. If Fakku made a PS3 friendly version that'd be awesome.. but i doubt they would. They're too busy managing everything else! :) Get a laptop or keep trying new methods to get the site to work, that's all i can say to help!

ok so i wanted to solve this porblem once and for all so i logged out on my ps3 then got that freakin letter n number jibberish n i tryed all sorts of combinations of stuff n found that if u go to creat new account u dont get all teh jibber jabber then from there go to login and u should be golden ive just done it 3 times back to back sign outs then login and jibberish then go to creat the login and solid, enjoy

Despite your incoherency, I think I know what's causing this issue. The browser on the PS3 is a lousy piece of software and doesn't support gzip-compressed responses; we "fixed" this a year ago by disabling gzip for all PS3-originated requests.

But the problem is that you're still getting served gzip responses from Varnish, our HTTP pagecache. Varnish only services requests from anonymous users and is bypassed when you're logged in. When I get home tonight I'll see if I can make Varnish not serve cached pages to PS3 user-agents to finally resolve the issue.
