Just a suggestion.

In light of the recent flood of new users, it may be a good idea to post a link to or a copy of the Rules and FAQ in the Meet and Greet forum, since that is the place new users are most likely to visit first. Even though they are "in progress", something is always better than nothing.

This is very advisable. It was actually one of the first things I was looking for, after registration.

hmm.. i think we need to put it in the front page of forum.

even old member could sometimes forget the rules. it might be better to put in a visible place where people can see it everytime they click the forum.
