Larger/longer avatars? (Different cropping)

Is it a possibility that we're gonna have an ability to have a free crop for whenever we choose an image for our avatar (similar to what Crunchyroll does) instead of having a defined crop you must use? You may say this is a nitpick of mine, but will avatars large than 200x200 be allowed in the future?

I think the 160x260 limit is fine, it keeps things neat and uniform. Scrolling through a thread with avatars of varying sizes would be a pain to look at.

But hey, who knows. Maybe if more people request it? idk.

The current one is good. Better than what other forums I've seen have to offer. 100x100 max of 46kb or whatever. You go over the kb limit even by 1 and they'll be all sdlfkjdoisdjkd.
